Guest guest
First I would like to say " WOW " this sure looks like an informative and knowledgeable group! My questions are: I have severe asthma and take entirely too many meds. I want to get off of them. I have found info about Quercetin, Bromelain and C being highly effective. Are there other herbs/vitamins that would also do some good to heal my lungs instead of all the damaging prescription drugs that I am accustomed to talking. (I would not just discontinue my regular meds but wean off slowly.) I also have severe illiac disease, which is hardening of the arteries in my legs and it is moving up. I have already had 2 fem pop bypasses in my left leg and one in my right. I have seen adverts for cardio renew sounds promising. Anyone know anything about this, if so what do you think? I really need to do something. I am only 41, I have 2 small boys ages 3 and 4. I am so tired of feeling crappy and the prescription meds are putting on the pounds which also make me feel sluggish. I don't take anything for the atherosclerosis prescription wise. I have been taking fish oil caps, vitamin c and e, b complex, green tea with ginsing, butchers broom, a multi vitamin, & garlic. Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Merry Christmas to Everyone:) Vikki
Guest guest
Hi Vikki, Welcome to the group and Happy Holidays! First of all, let me say that you can get your body into a condition where it can heal itself. There is hope! Depending on how much you want to jump into this, you can go head-first into some major cleansing, which is what I'd recommend to you because that's how you'll make the greatest change for your body the quickest. No point in feeling bad any longer than you have to! If time, money or anything else are problems to starting this right away, then you can make some dietary changes to start the process, albeit more slowly. Either way, you'll probably need to make dietary changes. Anyway, why don't you let me know which route sounds good to you and I can give you some suggestions on how to start. Let me know what your diet is like also, and whether or not you exercise regularly (other than chasing your cute kids around! LOL!). I also recommend that you browse through the files in the group. You'll get lots of great info!
