RE: Microwave ovens- What about Convection ovens??

We rarely use our microwave - for some reheating but not general cooking. We are building a new home and plan to put in a convection oven -- any adverse or questionable reasons for convection cooking?

As far as I know covection ovens is nothing more than an oven with a fan in it to circulate the air more efficiently.
