rheumatoid arthritis question

Does anyone have any idea what causes RA? I can't find a common factor in most of the people I know who have it, other than having extra weight, possibly smoking. I have always wondered about arthritis and other joint conditions. But this, it just baffles me. What would cause a person to have arthritis in the lower spine?

What actually improves the day to day living with RA? I know it is also said to be non-reversible, but is it? I know one person who keeps moving...hers is better so long as she walks allot everyday, but the other folks seem to be beyond that and unable to walk any distance.

Hi Flo,

Here are my thoughts on your question -

RA is a "deposit disease" - when the body has stuff it doesn't know what to do with, and so it "stores" it in the joints. Similarly, artheriosclerosis is also a "deposit disease" except that the body is putting different stuff in a different place.

These conditions can be reversed by cleansing and permanent diet and exercise changes. How much cleansing would depend on how bad the condition is and how much healing the body needs before it's in peak shape to maintain good health - it may take a lot of work, but it can be done! :)

Best,

Kelli

Kelli, with respect, you don't have a clue what you are talking about. I am 62 years old and have had RA since I was 6 (in those days, it was called Still's Disease, or child RA) Since those far off days it has been found that Still's Disease is indeed a different type of RA, in that there is not a Rheumatoid Factor in Still's Disease.

RA is basically caused by the bodies natural defence mechanism attacking the joints of the patient. I have studied this disease for over 40 odd years, and because of this awful and painfull disease, I am now wheelchair bound.

I have reams of info on RA, mostly carried out by Professor Childs of the Canadian Red Cross Hospital that used to be located in Taplow, Buckinghamshire in the United Kingdom.

I would be happy to put some of his studies up for general information.

Kind regards

Jeff

Jeff,

I very much appreciate your situation and feelings on this subject. Given that your situation is so extreme, though, I'm curious how much cleansing you've done. How far have you gone to try and reverse your situation? How are you using herbal remedies? What information are you seeking on this list?

It's certainly very easy to assume the medical doctors are right and that there's nothing we can do about our health. That we're the victim of our genetics. Where does that get us, though? What about the people that just decided that they weren't going to agree with what the medical doctors told them, and what everyone else "knew to be true", and they worked really hard and cleaned themselves up and created a miracle? There are lots of documented miracles. There are just a lot of people - the drug companies, medical doctors, research journals, etc - that don't want us to hear about them.

Not proving the medical doctors wrong, does not prove them right!

Best,

Kelli

A colon and body cleanse would be beneficial for anyone, your case

is not hopeless.
