Guest guest
Hi, I'm kinda new to the group. I joined around the first of the month and I've been just reading the messages trying to get a feel for the group. I have a bit of query but I'm not sure if its been asked before. I've been doing alot of reading about thyroid disorders and I've noticed I have most if not all of the symptoms for the underactive disorder. While I can find tons of info about this, I am having a bit more trouble finding info on herbs for it. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend something. A friend recommended.. black walnut hulls .. I'm rather confused about this. Is this actual black walnut hulls? Crushed into powder? lol I guess I should google and find out but I was hoping maybe someone could help that has experience with all this. Thank you, Sweet
Guest guest
Hi Sweet, There are many of us here on this list that have completely cured our hypothyroid problem with a Total Body Cleanse. Some were on medication prior to the cleanse, others weren't, but the bottom line is that if you clean yourself up, your body will heal!! Look through the files for more information on the cleanse program. Guest guest
Hello Sweet, On an immediate basis, have a look at the Panther Piss remedy in the files. From what I know of thyroid, an underactive one needs extra iodine, and PP will help you with this. On a long term basis, you need to work on the CAUSE of this problem, to cure it. Contact Doc for his lecture and listen to it. After that you can call him for your free consultation and work out a program with him for you Most likely your program will include a Full Body Cleanse :-) love Lisa - sweetladyfiesty herbal remedies Friday, December 10, 2004 6:34 PM Herbal Remedies - Herbs for Thyroid? ----------------------- Survey ----------------------~-->Please help us to improve . Guest guest
I would recommend confirmation of this, but my nutritionist and another nutritional site I've used said that soy is a thyroid inhibitor. When I had an under-active thyroid my nutritionist took me off soy. For general health I avoid processed grains/sugars and dairy. I used almond milk as a dairy substitute. Organic fresh vegetables, fruits, and lots of water combined with a minimum of exercise and I'm back on track. I lost 50 pounds in the process. herbal remedies , " Kelli Bever " <kelli@c...> wrote: > > Hi Sweet, > > There are many of us here on this list that have completely cured our > hypothyroid problem with a Total Body Cleanse. Guest guest
Most soy is genetically modified, and even the " organic soy " is in question. Listen to Doc's free lecture for more data on this. I used to drink a lot of soy milk (had lots of hormone problems as well then) but went off it and did the Total Body Cleanse and all hormone problems were resolved and thyroid was back to normal! Guest guest
LoL.. This is gonna sound lame but I went from individual posts to digest and lost the thread. Blond. Anyway. Thanks for all the replies. I'm gonna look up the Total Body thing that was listed. I read at another website about taking the temp. But that site said to take it every morning for a while. I forget how long. I took it for about a week every morning as I woke up. Everyday it was the same. 96.5 I wonder if that is a big enough difference to matter? lol Okay, back to reading posts. Guest guest
Hmm.. I don't think this would affect me. I don't eat or drink anything that contains soy. Well not that I know of. I don't drink milk either tho. I have a low tolerance for lactose (sp?). Guest guest
Read ingredients - the food companies are soy crazy (it's cheap) and they are putting soy flour and by-products into a lot of packaged and baked foods. herbal remedies , " sweetladyfiesty " <sweetladychaos2@h...> wrote: > > > Hmm.. Guest guest
Hiya Yeah, 96.5 is pretty low, if I remember right. You may also wanna check your diet, as there are foods (healthy ones, even, like different fruits and veggies) that can slow down thyroid activity. I forget a lot of the list, but it's a lot of stuff I used to eat. I know broccoli is one of them. (I can look up the rest for you, if you like--just say the word. I got the information during a hair analysis test that revealed a mineral constitution that eluded to a possible hypothyroid. I had about half the symptoms--very dry skin, very tired at night, some mood swings but not bad, VERY cold extremities, etc. But no weight gain. Whew!) Those symptoms have always ebbed and flowed and existed, but they got worse when I started on soy products, (even though they were said to be organic and came from reasonably trustworthy sources.) Just my random musings... Blessings, --Jeni-Laura PS: Hi again, everyone! Glory, you can really tell when my school semester breaks come up, huh? I kinda re-emerge from the dead. Guest guest
According to Doc's tape and theory of sympathy sound, thyroid would go to balance if you do total body cleansing. So only one remedy is not enough to bring all your glands in natural balance. If you do Total Body cleansing you remove "stoppage" and all glands start to work again, and you can eat all healthy food again.
