Hope this helps....Mary O - Janet herbal remedies Thursday, December 09, 2004 6:35 PM Herbal Remedies - NUMBNESS Would anyone know what would cause a 22-yr old to have about 75% numbness on her left thumb, from the knuckle to the end; and a few weeks before that, on her right big toe (on the outside edge of it)? She noticed the thumb numbness after drawing a picture with some pressure for a while, and the toe thing was when she was sitting on the floor. But the toe has not gone back to total normalcy since it happened. The thumb just happened about two days ago, and still the same. Thanks for any thoughts on this. Guest guest
Mary - As I've been thinking about this more, my daughter has been under a lot of stress with college. She tends to worry about stuff. Could it be with the stress, that she has pinched a nerve or two? I'm thinking, maybe a massage would be helpful. I made up some repair oil for myself in the past. I'll give her some of that to try on herself also. Thanks for your help on this. Guest guest
There many any number of reasons that numbness could exist and as you point out, a pinched nerve could be one reason. I would look for tonics that restore the body's nerves. If the symptom come and go, if is there is ever weakness in any of the limbs, if there is any blurring of eyesite - then see a medical doctor as these are early symptoms of MS. In the meantime, good nutrition and exercise, always. herbal remedies , " Janet " <ebbs@s...> wrote: > Mary - As I've been thinking about this more, my daughter has been > under a lot of stress with college.
