Why I Don't Do Doctors

Most people think I'm crazy not to go to doctors....not only do I not go to them for every little sniffle or ache, but I don't do annual physicals or "routine tests" that people my age (52) are supposed to have. And here is in good part the reason why....

And yet, when I sighed a wonderful sigh of contentment at the end of my monthly 1.5 hour Shiatsu/Reiki/energy/breathwork session on Monday, I said to the woman (my Magic Lady<G>), "Nothing bad can grow in this body," and smiled at her. And she agreed. It's a wonderful thing....communing with your body on a regular basis, tuning it up, you might call it (and, in fact, that is what I do call it), flooding it with pure energy and good thoughts and feelings, just *has* to be better for it than annual tests "looking for something wrong."

Well I agree with you to an extent, I was blessed enough to find a

awesome doctor who practices Alternative medicine and things like

ODAMED..electro-magnetic impulse frequency device...the guys never

stops doing research out of the box type stuff. Can talk to him

about anything and he is on it. Now your cookie cutting med school

know it all's, that is another sad story....Debbie

There ARE some good alternative DO's and MD's out there, but unfortunately insurance usually doesn't cover them. Or else it covers SOME things they do but not others. When my sciatica was at it's worse I made an appt with an osteopathic doctor. I wanted an adjustment. He called my insurance company and then told me that they said would cover diagnosis, tests, x-rays, etc. but NO manual adjustments...I'd have to pay for that part myself. Oh, well.... ;-(
