anything, because I don't buy that stuff, either. Sorry to have breached

the list policy. At the same site that I quoted, however, if you select the

link ABOUT HERBOLOGY, it takes you to several charts. In the one called

HERB SOURCES OF VITAMINS AND MINERALS, more than 4 years ago I printed out a

chart from there that lists these sources. Lou I will now share

what's on my printout:

 

VITAMINS

 

Vitamin A: alfalfa, black cohosh, cayenne, eyebright, red clover, saw

palmetto berries, yarrow, yellow dock

Vitamin B: blue cohosh, cascara sagrada, fenugreek, hawthorn, licorice,

papaya

Vitamin C: bee pollen, chickweed, comfrey, echinacea, garlic, goldenseal,

juniper berries, peppermint, rose hips

Vitamin D: alfalfa, dandelion, red raspberry, rose hips, sarsaparilla

Vitamin E: burdock, comfrey, dong quai, kelp, scullcap, slippery elm,

yarrow

Vitamin F: red raspberry, slippery elm

Vitamin K: alfalfa, gotu kola, yarrow

 

MINERALS

 

Calcium: aloe, cayenne, chamomile, fennel, marshmallow, sage, white oak

bark

Cobalt: dandelion, horsetail, juniper berries, lobelia, parsley, red

clover, white oak bark, iodine, bladderwrack, kelp

Iron: burdock, chickweed, ginseng, hops, mullein, nettles, parsley,

peppermint, rosemary, sarsaparilla, scullcap, yellow dock

Magnesium: alfalfa, catnip, ginger, gotu kola, red clover, rosemary,

valerian, wood betony

Potassium: aloe, blue cohosh, cayenne, cascara sagrada, chaparral, fennel,

goldenseal, parsley, rose hips, slippery elm, valerian, yarrow

Zinc: burdock, chamomile, dandelion, eyebright, hawthorn, licorice,

marshmallow, sarsaparilla

 

Trace Minerals: alfalfa, black cohosh, burdock, cascara sagrada, chapparal,

dandelion, hawthorn, horsetail, kelp, lobelia, parsley, red clover, rose

hips, sage, sarsaparilla, valerian, yellow dock

I'm not Lou, BUT I can add .03 here. I think it's an individual preference.

Then there's the 150 rule. <think that's it> Most herb/vitamin/supplement

doses are made for the average Joe of 150 lbs weight. I weigh more than

that <blush> so if it says to take two, I take three.

 

Herbs, they are kind of different. I just keep upping the tincture until I

get the results I seek.
