Storing Potassium Broth

Hi, Folks!

I made over 2 gallons of Doc’s potassium broth and put it in the

fridge in quart sized Ball canning jars with the 2-piece lids. In his

instructions, he says that the right kind of lid will create a seal and cause

the lid to pop when you open it, hence making the broth last longer. But

I can’t get the lids to “pop,” and I’m worried about my

broth going bad. I’m also wondering if it can be frozen. Did

I buy the wrong kind of jars?
