Guest guest
Gloria, Yes, the white willow bark can cause the "blood thinning" effect, just like aspirin. I would discontinue that before his colonoscopy. I would think, at least one week prior to the procedure. If you will go to www.google.com and do a search for each herb that he is taking, like the white willow bark....and put in white willow bark + bleeding into the search bar, you should find any references to those herbs and the likelyhood of bleeding problems. I hope this helps a bit, and if I can be of further assistance, please let me know....and I will do what I can to help. Best of luck to your DH during his procedure...and good luck with getting them to see the "light" on more natural healthcare!
