Hello All,

I was just diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome :( To help

control the symptoms I was prescribed birth control pills. I was

wondering if anyone is familiar with this syndrome and could offer

some advice on how to control the very unwanted and embarrassing

symptoms.

Thanks

Jaclyn

YES! Get off of birth control pills to control it. It is not controlling it,

it is masking it. I also have this syndrome, and it is just the poster child

for insulin resistance. Birth control pills were once thought to help it,

but it doesn't change the basic situation in your body. Please contact me

off list for more information on this...I personally have my PCOS under

control through several methods...and my diet is helping to reverse the

insulin resistance. Everyone on here can probably help you with herbal

things to help balance you as well.
