oven thermometer . Your oven turned off will likely be close to that

You can do it the old fashioned way with sun and air flow.

 

A web search of " dehydrator plans " would turn up many interesting ways

to dehydrate without an electrical appliance. A box, some screening, a

sun-filled window and some cheesecloth to keep off any bugs would

suffice for an indoor dehydration " unit " .

 

It's tougher in the winter with less daylight, but not impossible.
