Guest guest
These are my favorites: good rice Take 1 cup of wild rice Mix with 1 cup of short grained mix rice (health food store) Soak for 2 days in water( rinse every morning and evening and replace water with fresh water) On the second day, boil some water, turn off the fire, and add your rice. Let it sit for 5 minutes, and drain. In a bowl, add lemon juice(to taste) sea salt(to taste) and olive oil. Add your rice and eat while warm. This takes care of all my salt and meat cravings... Avocado Salad Take Tomatoes and Avocadoes and lemon, sea salt, and olive oil. Chop and mix, and eat. Yummy.... Catalina Salad Put mixed greens in a large bowl add catalina dressing(recipe will follow), olive oil, and some mixed nuts( make sure they are raw, not roasted, and chop them up- I use 1 of those choppers for onions that you push the top down and the blades are inside a glass jar... very neat this way or if you have a prossesor) Mix well.... Add sliced avocadoes, olives, onions and garlic. A feast for a king... This recipe gives you fatty acids, protein, fiber, and vitamins and minerals... Catalina Dressing 1 C olive oil 3 roma tomatoes 1/2 C apple cider vinegar 1/2 C. onions 2 tsp. Tahini ( proccessed sesame seeds)(at large grocery stores in the oriental food section) 1 tsp. hungarian paprika 1 tsp. honey (use stevia if you are fighting candida) 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/2 tsp white pepper Blend this in a blender well and bottle. If you dressing is too thin, add more Tahini. If it is too thick, add more olive oil. Onions parmesian (to replace the pasta) Slice onions and garlic( about 1 cup per person) Heat on low in a small sauce pan ( no aluminum or teflon) 1/2 C. Tahini , 1 C. olive oil, and 1 tsp sea salt When the mixture is warm, add the onions and garlic stirring constantly. Heat for 5 minutes or until the onions are soft. Eat while warm My favorite..... like snickers.... can only have when candida free..... Proccess or chop up 3 cups of raw, mixed nuts until small chunks Add 3 tbsp. honey and 2 tsp. Tahini and a pinch of sea salt. Stir well and enjoy.... Thank you for all the info I have found on this site and I hope you enjoy these recipes ===== Love and Laughter, Theresa M.
