Lane....That is a tough question. I would do what Doc recommends .He will tell you if you need to quite cold turkey OR what gradient to cut out foods at.

Now on the grains ... you do not have to cut those out at all , just be sure the grains are sprouted first. You can get Ezekial bread from a health foods store. Ask Doc how much you could have . You can order sprouted flours , for instance .You would want to consume a minimum of cooked foods , even sprouted grains, but you could have SOME .

There is another book you should look for. It is called " Dry it You'll like it" . Doc's wife Valorie can tell you how to get it. Now you do not need a dehydrator to make these things . You can dry in your oven if you can get the temp low enough ( 100 degrees).

Even drying in the oven with it not turned on can work . This is how I redry sprouted Almonds.

You can order sprouted flour from here : http://www.creatingheaven.net/eeproducts/eesfc/orderform.html

Years ago when I first cut meat out of my diet I would make avocado , tomato and lettuce sandwiches on sprouted grain bread . Somehow these satisfied my craving for meat which was a miracle at the time because I had been eatting alot of meat and NEVER ate fruits and vegetables prior to this . I found that it was not as hard as I was thinking it would be , as long as I ate alot of raw things. My cravings changed pretty rapidly.

I know this may sound impossible to you at this point . It sure did to me when I was at the stage you are at ( making a BIG change in diet ). If you just dive right in and starting eating alot of raw things you can speed the process alot.

Hope this helps a bit. Keep asking those questions Lane.....Mary O

Yes I emailed sharyn a question about cutting out foods on a gradual basis so you don't get "culture shock".... what do you think about this?

Thanks

Lane

Hi Lane....In the files under Doc Ian Shillington are sample schedules for each week of the body cleanse .There may be a shopping list as well . These will give you some idea of what you will be doing. The Liver Gall Bladder cleanse which is normally week three is the most intense and you will be very busy taking things during this week . You will be doing the Kidney Cleanse as your first week . This is usually week four..

Now I have not paid much attention to the cost per week . I bet Sylvia has.

SYLVIA ?...

Email any more questions that you haveLane....Mary O
