The psychological/psychiatric wing of " medicine " is the only

discipline that can simply decide upon or create new ailments. The DSM

IV and the fact that these illnesses are simply voted in without any

checks, balances, proof, etc, is one of the biggest atrocities I've

ever seen. They're a make-work program for the pharmaceutical

companies. Here's how it goes: Big Pharma makes drugs. People buy them

for ailments. More and more new ppl get sucked into this cycle of

dependency every day. But eventually, it sort of levels off, or at

least the growth rate slows. So Big Pharma needs new outlets to

manufacture drugs for. This is where Big Psycho (the psychiatric

morons) comes in. Big Pharma needs Big Psycho to think up new diseases

or start classifying existing disorders into more serious ailments

that we can now treat with drugs. The gem phrase is " no cure, only

treatment " because then they can hook ppl on more and more drugs for

the rest of their lives.

Enough! Many MDs have NO CLUE what they're talking about. They simply

don't KNOW anything. Psychiatry is NO better. I beat depression after

an 11-year battle (since I was 14) and haven't touched the meds they

told me I'd be on the rest of my life for 2 years and counting. And as

for the PMS... St John's wort, a little short-term (organic)

chocolate, LOTS of water, fruits, veggies, and salmon, and NO salt or

cow products of any kind (cheese, meat, butter, OR milk) for 1 week

leading up to The Week. I also find soy milk to be helpful, as there

is estrogen in it. Ever since I cut way back on cow products and

increased my soy intake, my cramps (which I'd had for 14 years, EVERY

month, so bad I'd get nauseated) were GONE. Exercise and stretching

also really help. (And massage helps, too! Helps ease cramps and

facilitates hormone regulation, fluid flow--both internal and from

inside to outside, etc.)

Gee...no more Motrin, no more Advil, tylenol, aspirin, cramps, missed

days at work, low-energy, mood swings.... Hmmm....

Just my ramblings :)

Blessings,
