I can't explain it only that they are working with energy. I think that different healers pull in different degrees of energy. Did you feel this person was an exceptionally good healer? (And yes I know the person doesn't do the actual healing. It comes from a higher source and from the recipient's own mind & body.) The recipient is also pulling in healing and accepting the healing and that can be pretty powerful energy. Just my 2 cents worth.
