Guest guest
My first cleanse is over (6-8 weeks ago) and I thought you'd like to hear what happened to me. I did the cleanse for the required time period. I shortened the kidney cleanse to 2 days because I ran out of IC#1. I also was not great on taking things at the proper times. I have a tough time following schedules. I was fairly sure I had liver trouble though I didn't suspect it was bad. I knew I had intestinal trouble too, and it was getting pretty bad. I also had some breathing problems which seemed constantly on the verge of flair ups. And I had some very serious hemorrhaging problems each month and bled for 2 out of 4 weeks each month. I also got migraines fairly regularly. Since the cleanse, I have started growing new hair on my head. I have had thin, very thin hair, since I received an inoculation when I was about 8. My hair had started falling out in bunches, and the md said that it was normal for a person to lose hair every seven years. I didn't feel it was normal to lose a bunch like that (looking around, nobody had large clumps of hair falling out that I had noticed), but my mom believed in mds at that time, and she had final say. Besides 40 years ago, there wasn't much a person did except buy the medico's viewpoints. So a bunch of my hair fell out and never came back fully, and there was nothing ever done about it. My hair was quite thin after that, in fact, you could easily see my scalp on the sides and top as I aged. I always hated it. Also, I had bad allergies to shampoo. I could use one type of shampoo for about 2-3 weeks, and then I had to switch. I would scratch myself until I bled while sleeping if I didn't rotate shampoos. Now I don't seem to have that allergy any longer. Although my hair isn't thick now, it covers my scalp fairly well. The new hairs are only about 3/4" long, so as they grow, I hope they will do even more coverage. *G* I have not had any problems at all with my intestinal tract since the cleanse. Before it, I was having such pain in it in one area that I was miserable if I didn't watch what I ate. I could not eat certain types of things (fat was okay but any type of grains were really bad and combined with sweets (even honey) was far worse), and I would get diarrhea for days at times. Sometimes I didn't know what I had done to cause it. I don't have the pain any longer though sometimes I feel a twinge in the same area and sometimes it feels not completely healed. I saw a difference in my eyesight. Strange, but my eyes got better for a while. They are back to where they were before so they have gone bad. Maybe another cleanse will bring them back to better. The eye dr's prescription is giving me migraines, and I just got new glasses. I probably need to go back to see him to get it fixed. The migraines are nearly gone. I was getting them fairly often. During the fall and spring, I would get them for weeks at at time, sometimes have them for four or five days. I hardly had a break for more than four or five days from August through October and March through May. Now I have had two so far this fall which are totally because of the glasses. The excessive bleeding seems to have stopped. I am not as sure about this problem because I think I am going through menopause so who knows. However, since the cleanse two months ago, I have not hemorrhaged. I have also noticed that the regular phlegm in my lungs has mostly gone. Although I still have allergies to smoke (and thought I was going to die a week ago with the fires here), I don't have the regular drainage or the mucus feeling in my lungs. I also don't have the feeling that my lungs are always on the verge of being covered in mucus and starving me for air. Another strange incident is that my spine seems to be more inclined to pop and crack since the cleanse. The one thing I did find that I do not like is that I have grown far, far weaker. My muscle strength is very much down, and it seems strange to me to have lost so much muscle strength. I did the cleanse without the eggs, and I wonder if I should have. Raw eggs sound pretty nasty to me, but maybe I needed the protein. And, to be honest, I did the cleanse and then went back to my regular poison eating habits. I realize it isn't good, but then somebody has to be bad. *G* No chastisement okay? I will do the cleanse again. I really feel it made a huge difference in my health. Since I am a teacher, I don't have the time while teaching, but I plan to do it again as quickly as I can. I feel far, far better than I did before it, and I also realize that another will do more than the first. A friend and her husband have decided to do the cleanse too after seeing my results. And my husband mentioned that maybe he should try it though he has such a busy schedule that I don't see how he could do it. And I know he wouldn't want to do a cleanse during the holidays when he is a little freer but probably much less inclined to do them. I will eventually get him on it, but I am not sure how to do it since he works 12 hour days and drives 1-2 hours each way. I just don't see how his schedule will permit it. I am very thankful for the cleanse and you Doc for making it so readily available. It was your openness and your forthrightness that made me believe in you. I couldn't believe that anyone would post their special recipes on the net for everyone to read. I thought I would have kept them secret. But in doing so, I believed in you and felt I could trust you. And now I see it was trust well worth giving. I actually feel good again after having spent 10 years with serious physical problems. When I finished it, I would say I felt like I was in my 20s again. My body felt light and healthy and clean. I felt as if my cells were not stuffed but more normal. And I felt as if a lot of poisons were gone from my body. The results were that I did see that poisons were gone. Since going back to my bad diet, I have still felt better. In fact, I feel far, far better than I did, and I still feel good most of the time. I don't remember feeling this good since I was in my 20s. One thing I would have wanted to see was that my body was working toward normalizing my weight. I am overweight by around 30-40 pounds. I did lose weight (7 pounds) with the cleanse, but I put about half of that back on. I know it is my fault because of my eating habits, but I did not have this weight problem prior to 8 years ago when I had a c section with my son. So I believe the weight is due to physical problems brought on by my body becoming toxic. Also, although my whole body is over weight, I have a large stomach. I have tried to get rid of it through exercise, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I know that I need to lose weight, but I also know that this was never an issue prior to the section (which was probably not good for my body either). But neither was the weight an issue prior to the section. I have done one very bad thing since I finished the cleanse, and that is that I haven't called Doc. I didn't do the follow up with him. The day I ended my cleanse, I was scheduled to go back to school (though I didn't find out until two days before). I have been so busy I haven't had the time. Sorry Doc, no slight at all intended. Overall, it was a great experience that I want to do again as soon as I can. I am really happy that I did it, and if you have not, you should. You really should so you can feel better! Guest guest
Kay, that sounds wonderful! I can certainly relate to your story about the c-section. I have exactly the same problems! Large stomach, and I never regained my prior weight, but instead kept putting on weight! I finished my cleanse 3 weeks ago, although I never did get onto week 4 - only managed week 1-3. I've lost a total of about 8-9 pounds, and I am determined to keep that weight loss going. So I'm still working at that. However, none of that weight seems to have come off my stomach so far. I just hope that the docs haven't screwed things up for me with the way they cut me open (made a T cut apparently in the uterus itself although outside scar shows just a straight across cut) and closed it again - damaging muscles or whatever which would prevent me from ever having a decent size tummy again!! I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens with further weight loss. I'm glad the docs saved our lives (had an emergency c-section), but would have liked my body to have regained its former weight LOL. Sounds like you had wonderful results with your cleanse!!! Guest guest
Dear Kay, Welllllllllll, thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you did so well. :-) An important point for all of to look at is how you managed to get so much out of it even though you didn't do the cleanse "Perfectly". This is one of the beautiful things about natural healing. It's awful hard to screw it up even when you don't put a hundred percent into it. Obviously, if you put a 100% into it, you can expect higher results, but of course we're interested in any improvement to start off with. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is good health. A gradual increase in one's responsibility is what we're looking for. Somewhere along the road as time goes by we get it right. LOL Very well done to you.
