Guest guest
Can candida overgrowth cause joint and/or muscle pain? I have this terrible pain I get, on and off, and have since I was a kid...it tends to start in the very top of my neck and the outer parts of my shoulders and spread, to my arms, hands, hips...it usually lasts from a few days to a few weeks, and goes as mysteriously as it comes. I have spots of extreme tenderness, I lose some of my range of motion, and in some place it's a persistent ache. When I get it, too, my joints seem to crack an abnormal lot. I've been x-rayed for things like arthritis, and come up negative. I've also noticed a couple other symptoms that could be yeast-related, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks! -ST

Guest guest
Sara - I used to get an ache in my lower back on awakening in the AM. It was so bad some days, I had to roll out of bed. Anyway, it finally dawned on me that when I was more careful about not feeding the yeast (candida) in my body, and took my acidophilous more faithfully, I didn't have an ache at all. All the reading I have done on yeast, and it took me so long to figure this one out. Sometimes, we are too close to the problem. In summary, wherever you have a weakness(es) in your body, that is where the yeast will gravitate and exaggerate the problem.
