Guest guest
Hello, Does anybody have any suggestions for natural remedies for: 1.) Osteo Arthritis of the knees 2.) Severe Anxiety/Panic Attacks I do take 5mg of Xanax and Benadryl per day for my panic attacks and anxiety. I was wondering if anybody knew of a GOOD, natural remedy that works just as good as Xanax. This anxiety is killing me. I used to exercise to get it all out, but I cannot exercise like I used to, because of the arthritis in my knees. I don't know how to swim, and I am afraid of the water, so swimming is out. Does anybody know of a good exercise machine arthritis? I do take Glucosamine, Hyaluronic Acid and Chondroitan for my arthritis, but I was wondering if anybody had any other suggestions about natural supplements, or a particular exercise machine they use, to get a good cardio workout, even though they have arthritis in the knees. Thank you very much. Tamara
Guest guest
Yes, Tamara, I have had asteo-arthritis symtoms that came on me really quicly. In fact it was getting worse on a daily basis. I didn't think I could work much longer. I was scared. I was taking a lot of things -- like you. Then I found out about Bio-cleanse an ionic foot cleanse. It a detoxing maching that removes toxins thruogh the feet. I started doing that along with cold laser treatments at my naturopath doctor and after four months I am noticeably improved. I don't have many arthritis symptoms at all. My doctor said he was amazed. For the panic attacks. Sure, there are a lot of things you can take but having had panic attacks a lot of my life, I found out that I just have to get rid of the things that were affecting my life to the point of having panic attacks. Sorry to say that included a lot of things and a lot of so called loved ones, but I am living a happy life without panic attacks. That is not a pleasant thought, but I am strong now and no longer a door mat and I like it that way. Take care. Hope that helps. Guest guest
A couple of things come to mind. First in males at least an excess of estrogen in ratio to testosterone is said to make them more prone to panic attacks. Second, multi-gram dose of inositol powder are said to work well. Do a Pubmed search on the research. I take a heaping tablespoon (12 to 20 grams) if I feel like a panic attack is coming on. And I take a teaspoonful (5 to 10 grams) to prevent them from coming back. And as the arthritis, I'd consider fish oil capsules, turmeric/curcumin, manganese, MSM, boswellian acid (this maybe somewhat hard on the GI tract just like NSAIDs), various flavonoids, certain herbs, and vitamin D3. Also cut the intake of omega-6 fatty acids as most persons have an excess in ratio to omega 3 fatty acids. Niacin and niacinamide may also be good at high doses though one runs the risk of too much stress on the liver and cardiac sensitivity/toxicity. Periodic lab tests could useful in the use of these two substances/drugs/megavitamins to watch for problems. -- In , " calicospacecadet777 " <calicospacecadet777 wrote: > > Hello, > Does anybody have any suggestions for natural remedies for: > > 1.) Guest guest
You can get a really good Coral Calcium with all the trace minerals in it. If you get all minerals your PH will stay at 7 and you will see that panic attacks will subside. And any arthritis will abate. Do not take any B vitamin singly only comples and only Coral Calcium which has all minerals....except maybe Iron....get Geritol for that.........It will take awhile for cells to turn over like 3 to 6 months....but you will be so surprised at the result. After all haven't we been told we are dust and we will return to dust?? Have a great weekend....Veronica calicospacecadet777 <calicospacecadet777 Saturday, November 11, 2006 3:02:27 PM Osteo Arthritis of the Knees and Severe Anxiety Hello, Does anybody have any suggestions for natural remedies for: 1.) Guest guest
Realizing that there is no " one supplement " or " quick-fix " below are suggestions for Osteo Arthritis using a whole body approach. Systemic Enzymes (taken in therapeutic dosages) Digestive Enzymes (20 minutes before every meal) ArthoPro by Pro Symbiotics Calcium Orotate (most absorbable form of calcium) Magnesium Orotate Fish Oil - make sure that it is a high quality one. I would suggest 2-3 grams daily. Complete B Complex Epsom Salt baths - 3 cups per bath (high in magnesium and will help to relax) Organic Apple Cider Vinegar - 1-2 tablespoons 2x daily in glass of water with organic honey. Goat Whey - helps to replace the organic sodium that the lymph needs. Everyone should be on a good organic multi-vitamin/mineral complex. Use healthy oils such as olive oil, coconut oil, hemp oil, flaxseed oil. Eliminate vegetable oils. Eliminate sugar, hydrogenated oils, table salt, sodas (all kinds), coffee and white flour. Castor Oil Packs Warm organic castor oil in a small pan. Do not boil. Dip several cotton or wool flannel cloths into the oil and apply each on top of the other to affected area. Cover first with plastic wrap and then a towel (or you can omit the plastic wrap and use two towels) Place a heating pad on top of the pack. Turn the heating pad on and leave it on for about an hour. Castor oil packs are great. Balance stress with a very healthy diet, clean water consumption, walk everyday for 30 minutes in sunlight, meditate, do yoga, listen to relaxing music, pray, read scripture, read a good book. Make sure that you are getting enough rest at night. Take time for yourself. Lithium Orotate is good for Anxiety and Panic Attacks. However, many people find that anxiety and panic attacks go away when they change their diet to a very healthy diet. Guest guest
panic attacks: This is how I managed mine- after being worn out after my last child I had panic attacks. 50 mgs Bcomplex, high strength multivitamin, cal/mag/potassium tab, Vit E complex 200IU, and LIVER. or/and the eqivilent substitute,( B12 with folic acid sublingual) it seemed to be the minerals were short , even iron, for me at that time. Blood sugar, may be low. Check out thyroid levels I had all of the above, I cured my self with Adele Davis' help and Williams who wrote on how individual our chemistry is. My MD wanted to treat me for '70's term-HOUSE WIFE SYNDROME! Of course by giving a psychotropic drug....I had worked in two mental hospitals and knew @# & *% sure I did not need that kind of medication. Balch and Balch books on perscriptions for natural healing are the up to date books that I recommend today, to read for your self. Guest guest
Prolotherapy fixed torn cartilage in my knee and I hear that it is helpful in arthritis. The injections are into the joints and contain salt or sugar water. The body senses an injury after the injections and attempts a `repair' of the area. It might be worth a try. Do some research. As for Anxiety... my anxiety and depression was brought on by severe magnesium deficiency. Once you reach a level of magnesium depletion... it is almost impossible to restore orally. I had to have IV's! http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi? cmd=Retrieve & db=PubMed & list_uids=1164868 & dopt=Abstract http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi? cmd=Retrieve & db=PubMed & list_uids=12404616 & dopt=Abstract Perhaps you have a long term magnesium deficiency like I did, arthritis can result. http://www.mgwater.com/calmagab.shtml Take this test to help determine if magnesium is your problem. http://www.thewayup.com/newsletters/081501.htm , " calicospacecadet777 " <calicospacecadet777 wrote: > > Hello, > Does anybody have any suggestions for natural remedies for: > > 1.)
