Guest guest
Hi everyone! In the past few months I have noticed a growing need for an e-community devoted specifically to Holistic Groomers, the pet owners who seek these services and/or wish to learn more about Holistic Grooming practices in general. Due to our transient society these days I have often found myself in the position of needing to recommend Holistic Groomers to my clients who are moving to a new area. I love these dogs and genuinely care about what becomes of them. I felt if I built a network of like minded groomers we might be able to fulfill this need. Today I created the HolisticGroomer e-community at: http://pets.HolisticGroomer/ Please check us out and remember us during your cyber travels to those who might benefit from this forum. * * * * * * * *From HolisticGroomer List Site* * * * * * * * The mission of this list is to provide support, information and education to those pet groomers who embrace the Holistic path in our profession. Additionally, this list is open to pet owners who are seeking to find services provided by truly Holistic Groomers, or who wish to learn more about the Holistic approach to grooming. Holistic Groomers, as defined for this e-community, are those individuals who use natural grooming products (shampoos, conditioners, finishing sprays, etc.); always handle their clients gently and with the utmost respect; introduce their clients' owners to the concepts and benefits of natural rearing practices (i.e. raw food diet; limited vaccination protocols; natural pest control); do not require UTD vaccine records (salon owners) or, if not self-employed, would prefer not to require UTD vaccine records if the decision were yours to make. Further, Holistic Groomers recognize, appreciate and strive to satisfy the need for harmony within their salon, themselves and the animals in their care. Our topics of discussion shall include, though are not limited to: Natural grooming aids; " tricks of the trade " ; vaccines/drugs/pesticides; How to identify a Holistic Groomer, etc.
