Guest guest
Good afternoon. I am a new member to this group who is actually seeking answers to some questions about my Diabetes. I am also looking for natural ways to improve my overall health. It is ironic that Darlene's post is the one of the first ones I viewed. Darlene your situation sounds similar to mine, if you add one more medication (Byetta) to the list. I would definitely be interested in learning more about ways to heal myself naturally. So if you, or any other knowledgeable members, can offer advice that would be great. , " dkay1057 " <dkay1057 wrote: > > Hello, > My name is Darlene and I am new to this group. Guest guest
I like to pour a big bowl of cereal, like captain crunch or franken berry or froot loops cereal and then I scoop on about five big heaping tablespoons of white sugar ontop of the already super sweet cereal. Do you think that is bad for me? Guest guest
Ugh! How can you even taste the food with all that sugar on top? And if you're going to dump massive amounts of sugar on your cereal the least you could do is to start out with a cereal like Cheerios which has no added sugar. I stopped using sugar altogether (gradually.) I tried Stevia and I didn't like the taste. So I'm still using Splenda, only occasionally. It may not be the best thing for you but considering how infrequently I use it .... Kevin L. If you have diabetes you need to slowly wean yourself off white sugar. on 11/5/06 9:45 PM, Eric at oceansdoor wrote: I like to pour a big bowl of cereal, like captain crunch or franken berry or froot loops cereal and then I scoop on about five big heaping tablespoons of white sugar ontop of the already super sweet cereal. Guest guest
I agree with the Cheerios! I started out with Cheerios and Honey Bunches of Oats. I weened myself from sugar by putting strawberries, bananas anything I could think of to give it a sweet taste. Eventually I acquired a new taste for alot of things yogurt, homemade puddings etc. Get it right now for later in life it will come back to haunt you. > > Ugh!
