Hi, I am new to the group and been a lurker, and searching archives.

I am 32 yrs of age, and for the past couple of years approx. 2 weeks

before my cycle I get IBS symptoms, headache, heartburn, a little

depressed & some anxiousness. I figured I should let you know what my

eating and lifestyle is like to make it easier for any help.

First I have not been on any BC pills in 12 years or been pregnant.

My eating is very clean, no synthetics (aspartame, splenda, msg, etc.)

I eat mostly organic chicken, eggs, salads, veggies, oatmeal, fruit,

Coho Salmon, minimal red meat (it's organic when I do), no wheat

products (oatmeal bread and wheat alternatives bread/pasta, etc.)

organic whole food bars, whole RAW almonds, tahini, RAW honey, 3

liters of water a day, dropped the organic coffee, drink green tea,

use fish oil with primrose all daily. I

do go off diet once a week and eat out but keep it smart, and during

holidays with family.

My supplements daily are Multi-vit, Vit C 1,000 mg, coral calcium

1,000mg, vit E 400 IU, chromium picolinate, B-Complex, 5-HTP, digestive enzymes

and probiotics w/FOS.

I excercise daily early mornings: 40-45 minutes slow runs with my

dogs, and weight train 3x's weekly.

I am racking my brain thinking what the problem is?? About 3 years

ago a doctor sayed I had spastic colon, so I did some research and

found my diet needed to change.

I was wondering if a chinese herbalist might help?? I have heard

great things about them, but cannot seem to locate one, I live in

central, FL.

Should I be dropping any spices or foods to help?

I need any suggestions, thanks for any help!

Wendy
