Cayenne Questions

I have been reading a lot about the health benefits of Cayenne on the

web, and have begun using it in large amounts daily over the past 2

weeks.

I am a diabetic. Normally I need to break sleep at least 3 times

every night to urinate. Since using cayenne daily, I now only have

to break sleep once a night.

According to various websites, cayenne improves elasticity of veins,

capillaries, and cells. It seems to me that cayenne is improving

elasticity of my bladder, but I don't know this for sure. Does

anyone have any information with regards Cayenne and bladder

elasticity?

Some people are very sensitive to oxalate overloads from foods.

Autistic people tend to be very oxalate sensitive. I am not autistic,

but I am also very oxalate sensitive. I may have Asperger's Syndrome

(High Functioniong Autism) but have never been medicialy diagnosed. I

get severe leg cramping during sleep after eating high oxalate foods.

Cayenne is, unfortuneately, high oxalate. So I have to limit how

much cayenne I take in a day. Because I really like what cayenne

does for me, I am trying to take as much as possible without getting

severe late night leg cramps. It is quite a balancing act! Using

Calcium Citrate tablets every time I eat cayenne helps with the leg

cramping because cacium binds oxalate in the gut. But it is not 100%

effective.

I have not been able to find info about oxalate content of various

forms of cayenne on the web. Cayenne comes in many differrent grades

of hotness (Scoville heat units). Does anyone know if oxalate

content is a constant for the different heat cayennes? Or does

oxalate increase in proportion to heat? I ask because if oxalate

content does not increase with increased heat, then by buying very hot

cayenne, I can minimize oxalate because I would need to take in far

less cayenne in a day. If anyone has any information, I would much

appreciate it.
