under tyranny. " - Thomas Jefferson

Sorry, --with all due respect to you, Dr. Greger--- though researched in

detail and well written, I'm not buying much of what's included in your new

free on-line new " bird flu " book, " Bird Flu: A Virus of Our Own Hatching, " ;

there have been over 14,000 posts on this forum

(http://health.Avian2005/) since we began 366 days

ago--- many citing non- governmentpharma financed researchers

(Horowitz/Dr.DAY/Alan Cantwell/Sardi/ R. Paul---the list might be well over

100---

The title-- " Bird Flu: A Virus of Our Own Hatching, " led me to believe that we

may have found a mainstream M.D. willing to level with us. A quick review of

the table of contents--- where you go so far as to use that asinine government

spin line When, Not If , demonstrates from whence Dr. Greger is coming.

Brings to mind--- " Hey, I have an idea--let's make a vaccine for fear and then

scare everybdy. "

AND no disclosure on the role of military inoculations in 1918, or the " w "

male specific curve for victims, or the facts surrounding SARS/swine scams and

use of scewy math--as if EVERYONE in Asia WHO keeps pet chickens and handles

chicken feces relates to western hemispere, and that they would all report in

to the doctor/hospital/WHO " authority " with every onset of " grippe-like "

symptoms---this from your intro-- " Because an influenza pandemic in 1918 became

the deadliest plague in human history, killing up to 100 million people around

the world. Because the 1918 flu virus was likely a bird flu virus. Because that

virus made more than a quarter of all Americans ill and killed more people in 25

weeks than AIDS has killed in 25 years—yet in 1918, the case mortality rate was

less than 5%. H5N1, on the other hand, has officially killed half of its human

victims. "

You may have missed it when you joined us--our " home page " quotes Congressman

Paul-- (I trust this man--like Cantwell, Horowitz, Day, et. al) " I believe it

is the President hyping this and Rumsfeld, but it has to be in combination with

the people being FEARFUL enough that they will accept the man on the white

horse. My reaction going from my political and medical background is that it's

way overly hyped and to think they have gone this far with it, WITHOUT a SINGLE

CASE in the whole country and they're willing to change the law and turn it into

a military state? That is unbelievable! They're determined to have martial law.

It would be nigh impossible to list all reasons I am not buying into this

crock--- as said, it's taken a year to accumulate the data in 14,000 plus

posts--- this may be a " bird flu " forum, but I think it is safe to say that most

here have determined that politics, population control, pharmaceutical crimes

and corruptions are the true threat; would Dr. Greger have us turn over our well

being to inoculations mandated by WHO, CDC, FEMA, or some other group of

parasitic slime?.

----BUT a few AVIAN2005 posts do come to mind and to illustrate my point(s)

and show our " drift " -- here are just five(5) of over 14,000.... (you're a member

of our forum --simply )

Please understand my " prime directive " --Knowledge is power, I am firmly

convinced; if you would debunk the common premise throughout, I would be

honored. Defeat any of the below, if you've the time.

1.) Horowitz-- 14487

2.) Grotto/Taylor --#9081

3.) Swine Flu fiasco--#6299

4.) Lorraine Day-- 2037 Lorraine Day on The Bird Flu Hoax

Re: FLU Images 1918 (Nat'l Museum of Health & Medicine) ---- #991

And the legislation concerning " Bio-Shield " protection of pharmaceutical firms

from confrontation, mandated " brand name " purchases only by government, Tamiflu,

etc...well, quite candidly, this is not something for which my generation will

be remembered fondly--perhaps , you will agree that this is as close to an

overt political " pay-off' as one can imagine.

Bird flu epidemic just won't fly in U.S.

Avian influenza (bird flu) has killed about 100 people since 2003, out of about

6 billion people worldwide, or about 0.00001 of 1 percent. This happened in

unique locations in Southeast Asia and under unique conditions.

Folks, there were more people who died during that period from tractor-related

accidents in the little state of Minnesota than in the whole world from bird

flu. There has been no threat of a pandemic (a pandemic is an epidemic over a

large area). There has been nothing to warrant a movie-of-the-week or the

recently announced federal government program of $7 billion. (cont)

Seriously, Dr Greger--we are able to " entertain " all possibilities, and God

forbid, if I have misread the patterns here, you could do us all much good by

setting me straight---and it should be obvious-- " we " do not represent the

uninformed , isolated pedestrian population, but we do communicate with them.

I would be honored if you can find the time to respond.

ps--re: bovine spongiform encephalopathy--- is it possible that autopsies

might reveal a significant % of folks dying from Alzheimer's actually had

something else?

Boston-based health practitioner Michael Greger, M.D., argues that it is not in

the cattle industy's interests to pursue or reveal cases of bovine spongiform

encephalopathy.

My new book, " Bird Flu: A Virus of Our Own Hatching, " will be released

in hardcover after the mid-term elections, but in the spirit of open

access, I've put the entire contents of the book online at

http://www.BirdFluBook.org with all 3,000+ references hyperlinked,

hundreds of full-text articles, etc. In addition to putting the whole

thing up for free, all the proceeds I receive from the actual book are

donated to charity as well. I hope to keep it an updated living

document, and so I'd love everyone's feedback! I'm afraid I do come

out in favor of developing an H5N1 vaccine, but am open to be

persuaded otherwise.
