It is literally the only one (to my knowledge anyway, there may be others that I am not aware of at this time) including the " d- Lenolate " , the specific component in the plant that is responsible for the healing properties surrounding the olive leaves. Re: antibiotic sub In response to your question about natural sources of anti-biotics, I can report that I have had some very good results with East Park Research, Inc d-Lenolate (800-345-8367) which is a patented/ proprietary form of olive leaf extract. Other sources of olive leaf extract have never shown anything near the same results and I have tried several because this is a rather expensive supplement. I keep several bottles on hand and we take it at the first sign of respiratory infection or colds. Best Regards, JoAnn
Guest guest
Thank you so much! I spoke with an herbalist today and she said the olive oil itself is better than the leaf and to just make sure to use it in soups and salads. Is this your experience? Or why do you feel the capsules with the leaves are better? ~Robin , " JoAnn Guest " <angelprincessjo wrote: > Hi Robin, > In my opinion and according to my own research on the subject the > supplement mentioned in an earlier post is the most effective. > It is literally the only one (to my knowledge anyway, there may be > others that I am not aware of at this time) including the " d- > Lenolate " , the specific component in the plant that is responsible > for the healing properties surrounding the olive leaves. >
Guest guest
I went to Mountailnrose herbs and tried to buy: shea butter olive leaf powder and red clover blossoms and they are OUT of stock on all three!!! Boy am I lucky. I seem to remember that red clover tea is excellent and that Tony said to use the blossoms, I still have not found them. Well, guess they are seasonal . If you prefer you can buy it from vitacost.com or where ever you choose in capsules. I prefer powder though because it is much cheaper. Guest guest
Hi Barbara,I have dealt with Mountainrose herbs for a couple of years, and it is normal for them to be out of stuff. They claim that they need to verify a product when it comes in. In the herbal world, things may not be what they seem (one herb may look like another, and "mistakes" can occur). I'm not sure that their quality is consistent.Good luck -Kbarbara elenniss <bntelennissoleander soup Sent: Sat, April 10, 2010 12:40:09 PMRe: olive leaf extract I went to Mountailnrose herbs and tried to buy: shea butter olive leaf powder and red clover blossoms and they are OUT of stock on all three!!!
