All proceeds from this event will be donated for cancer patient care programs as well as cancer research. To celebrate the efforts of the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute in battling this terrible disease, dozens of local, national and international artists are uniting their talents and contributing to the fight against cancer. A night filled with art and live music, the " Show of Conscience " is more importantly an opportunity for the community to come together in fellowship while raising much needed awareness on the many types of cancer and their impact on family, friends, and Central Florida as a whole. PAGE TWO Stacey Leware, local mortgage broker for AMT Financial Services and the woman behind the benefit art show, is no stranger to cancer. As the daughter of a cancer patient, she has dedicated her time and energy into what she deems a " personal mission " to educate anyone who will listen, about the devastation caused by this plague. She's not alone. In fact, many of the volunteers involved in the planning of this event have been touched by cancer in some capacity. As such, the " Show of Conscience " is not just an art show; it is a crusade against a modern-day plague, an attempt to teach the community of Central Florida, a celebration of courage and hope for victims of cancer, and a tribute to those who are dealing with this debilitating disease. In addition to food, drinks and music, the event will feature a silent auction. All proceeds will go to cancer research and patient programs at the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute, a local pioneer in the battle against cancer. " Show of Conscience: A Benefit Art Show for the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute " will be held at the Aloma Business Center, 6914 Aloma Avenue in Winter Park, at a cost of $5 per person.
