He had it pretty thick in his mouth, down his throat a bit too. I am in need of help. I just got off ofantibiotics (Flagyl) and am having the misery that accompanies. Ihave my first case of thrush, metallic taste in my mouth that won'tgo away, and I am queasy on my stomach. Don't want anymoretraditional meds (didn't want that but had a tooth pulled and neededantibiotics).Peppermint tea isn't calming my stomach. In fact around 1:00amI "gave back" the dosage of the meds that I took last night. I haveno appetite (yet another side effect) but was required to eat totake the medication. Anything other than peppermint tea for calmingthe queasy?Anything to do about the thrush?Anything I can do to get the metallic taste out of my mouth (besideincreasing water intake which I have been doing).(I am going to search previous posts to see if this has beendiscussed but if anyone can answer now I would greatly appreciate).ThanksMe__________Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following:1. Guest guest
Osiyo Julie! Taking antibiotics can/will allow the normally present candida albicans to overgrow causing systemic candidasis which can be fatal if not corrected. The candida will rapidly infect every mucus membrane in your body and produce the mycelex toxin. Your immune system will stop doing anything except fighting the deadly mycelex toxin causing alergies to everything. Constipation, indigestion, and a yellow coated tongue (thrush), are basic symptoms. There are several things you must do rather quickly: 1. Stop all sugars, starches, and bread/cracker intake. This is a must with absolutely no cheating!... Low carb diet with lots of nuts (no peanuts), add asparagus. Candida feeds heavily on all sugars (fruits=sugar) and will cause terrible cravings for anything sweet. 2. Drink at least 2 oz of CS (colloidal silver) three times a day. You may add DMSO (1 Tsp/2oz CS) to take in the CS more quickly. 3. Take Papaya enzyme twice daily. 4. Take acidolphilus three times a day to restart the gut. 5. You must drink a lot of clean water (no coffee, no juices, no tea) thruout the day to flush the deadly toxins out. IE: A 150# body will require about three quarts a day. Later on you may start some green tea temporary for the anti-oxidents. Use care as it can cause high heart rate after several days. 6. Take at least 250 mg of milk thistle twice daily to help flush and heal the liver. 7. Take generic bisocodyl laxitive as needed to clean the colon. After the candidasis symptoms are cleared then the Full Body Cleanse is recommended. Guest guest
I think I may have thrush in my mouth and throat. Anybody know a good homepathic remedy to help? I been trying to take acidophilus as much as possible........don't know if that will help or not. Thanks in Advance, Debbie
Guest guest
I think you know Thrush is a Yeast Infection which is very common. I would follow the advice of the others concerning *Pro-Biotics. The no. 1 rule according to The Yeast Connection is: to stop eataing Sugar and White Flour products. The product I would recommend is: *Tom's of Maine Spearmint Mouthwash. (you could also try his Spearminet Toothpaste. I used The Tom's of Maine Mouthwash and was impressed at how much cleaner my mouth and gums. Use plain or dilute. Only problem is the Spearmint tastes so good to swirl around in the mouth you may use up the bottle quickly; Spearmint is wonderful as tea. Also; make a pot of any Spearmint Tea; drink plain or w/honey. *Tom's of Maine 100% Spearmint Oral Mouthwash available supermarkets. Aso available in Cinnamon and Pure Baking Soda for sensitive gums. A- ps Another thought is to incorpoare Garlic as Garlic Supplements or fresh; onions and chives also help to prevent certain yeast. Also try to drink Cranberry Juice; dilute with water if necessary. Guest guest
Make sure the cranberry juice you get is sugar free--most commercial brands have sugar in them. Whole Foods carries a concentrate without sugar that you can add water to. I drink it without sugar. Guest guest
Thrush -- coconut oil, capric, caprylic or lauric acids; all are in coconut oil. Thrush points to a likely bowel candida involvement, which is really a nose-to-tail condition. You should join the candidiasis and beat down the candida. It's pretty easy when you have the right information: candidiasis/ Duncan Crow
Guest guest
Anne, what works better and faster on candida is much more restrictive: no white flour, no sugar, no grains even whole grains, no potatoes, and increase fibrous foods and inulin, which is the natural food ingredient that is deficient in the modern diet and which feeds prbiotics in situ. Probiotics, namely bifidobacteria strains, can optionally be used for a faster start, but they are actually quite expensive at the doses required and are proven to be unnecessary when one has inulin. Even the other bowel disorders such as Crohn's disease are curd in the same manner. Here's a primer on prebiotics: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/inulin_prebiotic_probiotic.html Also, correct hypochlorhydria to reduce nutrient malabsorption and take appropriate supplements to leverage out of the malabsorption and leaky gut situation. And, special attention to toxin load -- liver flushing, antioxidant support especially glutathione increasers. Many of these important points are missed by the Yeast Connection, and also ignored by specific carbohydate diet and candidasupport group proponents, who are mired in dogma. That's why the candidiasis group is the biggest; it contains the most complete and most effective information: candidiasis Duncan On 18 Oct 2006 at 11:25, [Alternative_Medicine_Fo rum] Digest Number 2623 wrote: > > Posted by: " Anne " annroc2004 anna19566 > Tue Oct 17, 2006 8:13 pm (PDT) > > I think you know Thrush is a Yeast Infection which is very common.
