Honey for wounds

I have used the Manuka + 18 honey by Comvita. It's from New Zealand. The

" +18 " is the " medicinal " honey which is fantastic for sore throats. The " +10 "

is " eating " honey. They also make a +24 called Wound Care, that come in a

tube and it's good for wounds. As I recall this is one of the brands used in

hospitals for wounds.

 

I have been told that the manuka tree is similar to the melaluka tree (tea

tree oil) in it's healing properties.

 

Earth Fare health food market used to carry all of these but not the tube

any more. I guess people here just didn't understand the concept.
