Doc says nothing wrong with my ears except water behind them. I

disagree. They feel stopped up and left one is ringing and twice as

loud. Now my left one feels stopped up too. Feels like a bubbly pop in

the left ear. When i say pop , the hearning doesnt change or anything.

Im taking something for the headache that is codeine, cafeine and

acetometaphine. One every 6 hours. I take it twice a day.

He did prescribe loratadine for nasal and ear congestion, but it isnt

doing anything. I go back to the doc on monday.

He says my headaches are being caused by my blood pressure being up,

but its gone back down.

ps: yes ive used all the drops for the ears and nothing works, maybe

thats why there is water behind it, nothing can come out.

Have you tried a few drops of warm olive oil in the ear, twice or 3

times daily? Also I do believe that to clear out any dirt in the ear,

bicarbonate of soda (not sure if it is called this in the USA, maybe

baking soda) mixed with hot water, left to cool and a little poured

into the ear works in a similar way. If you have a bubbly pop in the

ear, this can also indicate a infection and you should not use anything

until the infection has been cleared.

Robin, I would definitely stop the HP in the ear and try the olive oil, if

you are getting that sort of reaction to the HP I would not recommend it.

Please try a little warm olive oil by dropper into the ear morning and night

and see how that goes for a week, if no improvement, I recommend you seek

advice as to what the problem is.

Marianne

I have just tested my other ear with the same solution, I had the same

reaction but I do not have tinnitus in that ear.

I once had a headache for 6 weeks non stop - it drove me mad. I went to my

GP who sent me for physio, it turned out to be a problem with my neck, a

little bit of physio and I got rid of the headache. If I have problems with my

neck now, I tend to get a real bad headache.

I wonder if you have a problem with your spine that is causing your

headaches.

Marianne

he says i dont have an infection and no the olive oil doesnt work. I

could care less about that, i want my headache to go away. You think

its from my ears? IN fact he almost got mad when i said i had an ear

infection but i have no idea why

I have been putting some 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution into the ear

which has tinnitus. When first I put it in I get a big pop as if gas

was coming out under pressure from the the ear drum. It is quite loud.

Is that what is meant by a bubbly pop? After the initial pop, the ear

settles down to just reacting to the Hydrogen Peroxide.

I have just tested my other ear with the same solution, I had the same

reaction but I do not have tinnitus in that ear.

Robin

However I also get that reaction from the other ear that does not have

tinnitus.

( Moderator's Note: Although we try to help each other with information on

possible areas of treatment or research, the one thing that is very, very hard

is to try and help with the diagnosis of the problem.

If it is hard enough for local physicians or health care providers to diagnosis

a problem, it is many times harder to help the person do so for themselves when

there is no or minimal information and the person is not even seen. We also are

not for the most part doctors or profesional health care providers. It is

against the law to diagnose, or prescribe treatment if you are not a duly

A common symptom can be caused by many different underlying causes. It is

usually best to make use of local facilities and care givers to determine what

the problem is and then to search the web or groups to educate yourselves about

possible treatments and solutions. It is also possible to try and research one's

symptoms on the web by inputing the symptoms into and using a search engine. It

is not illegal to research and to try and help with a diagnosis on yourself)

Try Sinol. It is all natural and they have an allergy formula and a

headache formula. If it persists then find another doctor. There are a lot

of things that it could be including food allergies, stress, hormones, eyes

or something more serious. You need someone who will help you get to the

bottom of this as lingering headaches are not normal--there is always a

reason.
