Guest guest Posted October 4, 2006 Report Share Posted October 4, 2006 I removed my acrylic nails 2 months ago. Yes, I know they are terrible for you! Anyway, I have what I thought was a callus on my cuticle on the side of the nail. Shortly after removing the nails I have a while hardened area growing under the nail. I personally think this is a fungus. Now..what can I do to stop it from getting worse. It is very ugly. I have used Tea Tree Oil on it several times a day for 3 weeks with no changes.
