Guest guest
Lee's last book with Zava was also good on Breast Cancer and added some new info. My OB/GYN father was doing natural progesterone in the 60's on in thousands of women and he felt it was the great cover up treatment in many situations. Hi Nik, I think you should read the book by Dr. John Lee, MD, called " Hormone Balance Made Simple, " - you may be able to get it through Amazon as a used book. Dr. Lee addresses hormone imbalances that most likely cause endometriosis...and the cure is in the use of natural progesterone. You have to be consistent about using the progesterone. There are testing kits out there that are not really very expensive that show where your hormone deficiencies lie. About CFIDS, there are many really good articles written here in the Forum about that so research that. CFIDS is a complex disease state so if you haven't already started to read about it, I would recommend that. There is another important website called Prohealth - they keep up with current research with regards to CFIDS and Fibromyalgia. You can sign up for their free newsletter that arrives weekly as email. Supplements you buy through Prohealth contribute to a fund for research and they have done a lot of research as a result of the money raised through purchase of supplements. I am not associated with them. Prohealth also indicates the best supplements as rated by people with CFIDS. Hope this helps. Best wishes and good luck. Some of it is hit or miss as far as I am concerned. I recently tried 5 HTP (not through Prohealth) as recommended by a friend for my sleep disorder. It didn't do anything to help. Have you read about hypoglycemia? I have it too--you must eat small meals 6 times a day (smallish meals) - the symptoms overlap with CFIDS, so that it makes symptoms really confusing. Fatigue, sleep disorder, and on and on are similar or the same. Hard to sort out, so once you start eating as a person should with hypoglycemia and some of the symptoms go away you will find which symptoms are CFIDS and which are hypoglycemia. It takes several months in my opinion of eating 6 meals a day to finally start to feel better. Hypoglycemia OFTEN precedes Type II diabetes. It can take years before diabetes is full blown, but address the hypoglycemia issues/food/blood sugar anyway. I think it is wise to start eating according to the glycemic index. If you aren't familiar with that, look it up in the internet--many good books about that. That gets your blood sugar down. I had neuropathy in my feet and legs for several years before doctors diagnosed Type II diabetes, so the neuropathy can begin while you have hypoglycemia, and not just with the start of Type II diabetes. Diabetes can come on slowly. Seizures are common in CFIDS.
