Guest guest
Ozonated olive oil will kill any infection it touches, it only takes a small amount each time and a jar lasts a long time. call Dr. Pressman at Plasmafire; it's not on the website. htp://www.plasmafire.com Lanacane stops itching right now. Guest guest
" PAV " is an excellent product for any skin condition. Do a Google search on " PAV " and you'll see where you can get it. It seems expensive but a little bit goes a long way. I have even cleared up skin cancers with it. Jock itch is a miserable SOB. Jack
Guest guest
I did a google on " PAV " . I got over 5 million hits. Needless to say, I did not look thru them all. But I read the descriptions of the first 50 or so and none of the hits looked like what you describe. What does PAV stand for? I did the same thing and realized the search needed to be narrowed down. Since it's a skin product, I searched on 'PAV skin' and found the product immediately: > On 9/25/06, JACK MILLIORN <jack.mill wrote: > > " PAV " is an excellent product for any skin condition. Guest guest
" tree resin " does not really tell me what the active ingredient is. And it has a peroleum base. So I guess I am not interested. Thanks for clarifying the google search. Alobar On 9/25/06, Alex Stanley <j_alexander_stanley wrote: > , Alobar <Alobar > wrote: > > > > I did a google on " PAV " . Guest guest
It's probably an allergy to nicotine or any or all of it's additives. Guest guest
Hi Al, Jock itch is similar to athlete's foot or thrush - i.e. it's caused by a fungus. I have read that it is Trichophyton rubrum, although can be caused by Candida albicans. In any case, it shows a general weakness in the immune system. Topically - tea tree oil or wild oregano oil are good options. Internally - follow a diet which is designed to eradicate Candida and see if that helps. - no sugar or refined carbohydrates - only whole grains - no alcohol - lower animal protein - garlic is a good antifungal, whether taken in capsule form, or if you use several cloves of fresh per day - a good Lactobaccilus acidophilus probiotic - berberine containing herbs: goldenseal, barberry, Oregon grape, can also 'brew' these up into a tincture and use topically. - An essential fatty acid supplement (both fish oil (Omega 3) and Evening Primrose Oil (Omega 6)) - general support of the immune system... i.e. zinc (up to 50 mg per day), B-complex, Vitamin C (2000-3000 mg per day), Vitamin E (400-800 IU per day), Vitamin A (do not exceed 10,000 IU per day) - caprylic acid capsules - start with about 250 mg per day and work up to about 600 mg per day Other advice - shower often and avoid tight clothing Hope this helps. Guest guest
As a sufferer myself I occasionally use cortisone cream. My dermatologist at Kaiser most recently thought I have interigo, which I don't understand but something like a heat rash, I believe. (Scraping of skin didn't show yeast under microscope) I just searched Google for interigo and the third listing was from a Seabee manual and useful. The question seems to be whether it is a yeast/fungus infection or not. The Seebee document seems useful. -- In , <yrolf2000 wrote: > > It's probably an allergy to nicotine or any or all of it's additives. > > Alex Stanley <j_alexander_stanley wrote: --- In , Alobar <Alobar@> > wrote: > > > > I did a google on " PAV " . Guest guest
I have seen success by starting with Hydrogen Peroxide, applied externally let sit over 1 minute and blot dry. Then apply anti fungal cream or powder. or both. . . also one should increase anti oxydents because ultimately although it is outside the skin, it cannot exist without us lacking some defenses Best to all Michael Phoenix Rising
