Guest guest Posted August 28, 2006 Report Share Posted August 28, 2006 My dad in in hospital with very low blood platlets. They are treating him with sterioids to improve this . I am worried because he is very thin and he had complainof pain in the joints. Firstly, any suggestion on possibly causes. Secondly, alternative to the prednisone?
