Guest guest
I agree with JoAnn. I had very low fat diet for the past 3 yrs after knowing my cholesterol level is rather high. I hardly eat meat (including fish) but loaded with high fruits & vege diet. But my recent check showed that my HDL was not only not increase, but lower than previously, and LDL was not lower either. Now I start to increase good fats intake, which includes omega 3 (fish oil), olive oil and almond nuts. Hopefully it will lower my LDL and up my HDL. By the way, will the caffine in tea lower/affect the omega 3 absorption by our body? I often take the fish oil supplement with tea. Is that good?
