Even media. How else will anyone know if we only keep agreeing with each other and not dare to be angry. Thanks Sun, 20 Aug 2006 22:02:37 -0000 [finding1cure] Re: Yes ....you write a letter too Hi Veronica, I hate to tell you, but the major media are part of Big Business now and almost all are now owned by a handful of very large companies. So don't expect a lot of help from them. Major media was never impartial in it's reporting, it mostly tended towards, government and business whether it was true or not, but now it is more a propaganda system for whatever talking points government or big business wants to put out, than any real reporting system. The same people (handful of elites or superich, or people who work for them) sits on the boards of directors of the same other boards of directors of the other big business companies. The leites are entertwined throgh most all big business. They sit on each others boards, etc. About the only way for people to find out any " real truth " today is the internet ( one reason why it is so poular) and the governments around the world are trying to censor and clamp adown on information being shared by using it. So we may even lose the internet. If the governments and big business has it's way, you can expect the internet to be similar to what television is today. That is the type of information that government and big business want you have, something that they control, not what or how the internet is today. Laws are already being passed to subtely change the way that information will be available to us. Major media is part of the problems, not part of the solutions. Re: Yes ....you write a letter too On information sharing and people getting some real truth..... There are many people employed as shills to go around to various groups, web sites, mailing lists, etc. to act as shills, misinformation specialists, trouble makers, trolls, disrupters, dividers, etc. to muddy the waters and make it hard for information to be seen as accurate. Or for people to get a consensis on a subject. The more important the issue involved, the more that you will see this. They will post misinformation. They wil start fights. They will try to get people divided on other issues other than the group's subjects. Such as religion, politics, etc. Such people are paid to do this. There is a war going on over the internet for freedom of information. It is a war for the minds of all people. It is to get you to believe a talking point for big business, governemnt, etc. versus to get people to wake up and find out the truth for themselves. It is the same war that has been going on in major media for a long time, until it became almost completley controlled now by a very few companies. The internet is just the last frontier. Be very careful of what you believe and from whom. And be careful of who you let post in your groups and on what subjects.
