Guest guest
" Veronica Allison " <ronicamelian Sun, 20 Aug 2006 08:49:33 -0700 (Pacific Standard Time) [finding1cure] Filarial Lymphatic disease in America I have lived in the high desert of Oregon, which is infested with mosquitoes, because of the huge swampy lakes in Harney County. I was bitten by a swarm on my back where now I have all these black moles. So you cannot tell me these mosquitoes are not VECTORS....they are and we are left to believe because we are in " clean " America we do not get the same transmissible worm diseases as India or the Sudan etc. And you know swamps are all over the States. Early on when DDT used to be sprayed, mosquitoes were cut down to where you could use OFF or bug lights to fend them away from yourself. The two towns, Burns and Hines, later took to land fog spraying when DDT was outlawed. But the mosquito population increased. Certainly DDT caused less problems then these vectors of filarial disease. And please do not tell me about it being only a problem in the Tropics. It is here in the States. Personally I think we call it cancer or leukemia. I've had too many people in my family die from this disease that I am just now recognizing as worms. If I had known I could have saved so many loved ones who died early deaths. I won't go into the details of their demise but I will fight for my living relatives and myself. You are all over the World helping with this disease but we can't even get Drs here in America to listen and at least check to see what we have. Meaning we cannot even pay for medical help. They turn anyone away that wants tested or asks for medication. This is unacceptable to go untreated in this Country that has every technological advantage . We are growing in recognizable numbers and the Media is picking up on it. To me it has been tagged with an unfortunate name that has become a joke. And the opportunistic human parasites are surfacing to take what money the afflicted have left. That bird flu crap you are trying to foist on the American public is nonsense compared to this. People are sick. Their face and limbs swell. They can't work because of poor concentration abilities and they are forced to beg, borrow and guess drugs that will kill down what is devastating their bodies. Some have even committed suicide. This is a genuine problem and the ones that manage to come out of this able to think are not just going to lie down and be ignored. Sincerely and Respectfully, Veronica Allison ronicamelian

I also think that parasite infections in the USA have been disregarded and will continue to be disregarded because of the huge amounts of money involved in giving different treatments to all of the so called diseases and conditions involved that these parasites eventually cause. Most doctors do not have a clue, nor do most want to know. Almost all only believe what they have been taught to believe. The huge amount of money involved, for treating all of thse subsequent diseases caused by parasites, probably represents about 15% of our gross domestic product, so you can see where this policy has gone over the years till when it represents today about one out of every six dollars spent in the USA. We are talking about hundreds of billions of dollars. Most people and doctors knew about and treated parasites up until the drug companies took over the US medical systems after 1900. When that happened, the drug companies (same people as the oil and chemical industries, one industry grew out of the other) The study of parasites and treatment slowly dropped off the radar till nothing was heard of parasites in about one generation by patients or medical students. I doubt even think that the heads of these pharmacutical companies today even know the full truth, but the elite, superrich who own them surely must. The study of parasites was shifted to tropical medicine, where it languished until now. Then a lot of misinformation came out along the way, how that it isn't a problem in the USA, etc. Until what we get today, that the sufferers are labeled " delusional " . Modern allopathic medicine was built on having lots of diseases and giving expensive pharmacueticals to treat, (not cure but treat) until now it is the most profitable business in the world, while the people are the sickest of any time in history. The more disease the more profits. Having humans to be sick is good for business. Having animals not be sick, but to be well, is good for business. That is why almost all animals are treated for parasites in the USA on a continuos basis, while the average person is told that parasites are no problem here and can't receive treatment, even with money in hand. That I believe is why all who suffer from parasites, will find it almost impossible to get help from the government, medical authorities, medical systems, etc. in the USA and lesser so, but still substantial in other countries. As to other countries it will depend on how much influence the Big Drug companies and US medical/ political has influence over their systems. The part they haven't explained well is how is it possible for all of these animals to contract parasites in the enviornment of the USA and almost impossible for humans to contract the same or similar parasites in the same environment. This is impossible logic. finding1cure , " Veronica Allison " <ronicamelian wrote: > > I have lived in the high desert of Oregon, which is infested with mosquitoes > because of the huge swampy lakes in Harney County.
