Guest guest
Have you tried acupuncture? It may not be an instant cure, but it does generate endorphins and feels pretty good. It may help you cope. Some hospitals are beginning to offer it for pain, and you may be able to find some doing clinical trials to prove to their administration that it will be beneficial. Ask around. It does not hurt, and if it pinches, it's more than likely way less than the pain you are experiencing and the benefits are amazing. , mike langan <mk_langan wrote: > > Hi , I'm a recipient of a spinal fusion in 2003 and a slight stroke last month. Concerned about my health. So sick of med doc's and hospitals . It was a nightmare after my fusion , they removed the pain med pump in one day and left me off all meds for pain for 20 hours . While i screamed in pain they brought me in ice chips to chew on and told me i was disturbing the patients in ICU. I should have sued them , but i'm not like that , I'm grateful i can walk , in constant cronic , acute pain. But i can walk ride a bike ski even surf , but i have to keep fit and manage my pain w/ meds and any way i can really , w/o becoming addicted to bad to anything. It's hard i have to take methodone and med herbs , the kind you can grow and has been recently allowed. IT helps me take less methodone. I was a plumber , forget that now, i'm trying to get SSI for 2 yrs now. Peace , Love , God Bless use all, Mike L. > >
