Hello,

I have a friend who has the above condition and doctors say there's

nothing they can do to help. I'm fairly knowledgeable about how to

care for and improve one's health as I recoverd from Grave's Disease

with mild TED myself through nutritional and lifestyle changes, but I

don't know how to help my friend. Does anyone have personal or

professional knowledge about how to improve or cure the more serious

eye problems caused by Thyroid Eye Disease? So many people are

suffering tremendously, especially because they were duped by doctors

to take steroid treatments.

Thanks!

Tammy

Hi Tammy!

My sister lost complete sight in one of her eyes, however she

regained it within a very short period of time by taking the

following supplements:

I-Tryopin (sp?) a standard process supplement

Oculotrophin a standard process supplement

" Visual Eyes " with ALA, Gingko and other herbs, by Source Naturals.

www.standardprocess.com

God Bless,

JoAnn

Hi Tammy: I would recommend this list of Vitamins for your friend:

*Bilberry Herb is always good for the eyes.

*Fish-Oil Capsules or Cold Liver Oil by teaspoon(also called Vitamin A)

*Iodine Mineral such as in Kelp

*Tyrosine Amino Acid

*Vitamin C Ascorbic Acid

*Vitamin B2 If I had to chose 3 I would choose:

Fish-Oil; Vitamin B2 tabs and Vitamin C. Vitamin C avail. as a

" Powder; Pill: Capsule; tablet; Evervescent drink and Natural Rose Hips.

Milk is high in Riboflavin: Egg Yolks have Vit. A; Fruits Vitamin C.

It could be either Tyrsoine or Tyrptophan; Tyosisine found in Dairy

Cheese and Tyrptophan found in Milk;Poultry. Tryptophan converts to

Niacin in the body naturally. Try the standard process Supplement.a --

I have had some vision loss due to steroids and diabetes. I take a

mix called Ultimate Eye Formula, w/350mg bilberry, 150mg blueberry

and 10mg lutein. I take 2 a day. I haven't noticed any distinct

improvement in my reading vision but it has improved my night vision

quite a bit...
