Guest guest
rob OpEdNews The War With Iran is ON The last newsletter had a programming problem. We use software we developed to generate our newsletters, incorporating the newest articles-- ones we haven't sent out yet. Somehow, the software moved the author's name DOWN to the next article. We're working on sorting it out. I'm pretty sure it won't be a problem with this newsletter. It's been a busy day with a lot of articles. I'm particularly pleased with some new contributors covering different aspects of the crisis in the middle east. It's challenging to cover the different perspectives and interests. I'm proud of the job we're doing reflecting the different viewpoints. Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed reports from London on the War with Iran. His report gibes with what Scott Ritter said at the Forum he spoke at last night-- that we're on track for a war with Iran, that some US resources are already in Iran, and that any war will be extraordinarily destructive to the US economy. This article explains why the Bush and Blair administrations don't care. Nicola Nasser reports from Ramallah, with a Palestinian perspective, Context Of Israeli Wars In Lebanon, Palestine: Back To Roots and I'm pleased with my discussion of Middle East Wiggle Room. Please log in and comment on these articles-- whether you agree or disagree. Sincerely, Rob Kall publisher, OpEdNews.com Thanks, Rob Kall, OpEdNews.com PS. By Rob Kall Rob Kall: Middle East Wiggle Room-- To Be Bought At A High Price, But Not Optional The US is solidly supportive of Israel as a country. That's really not negotiable. Where there is wiggle room is how the middle east conflict is handled, how the US leans on Israel, how Iran and other power players lean on the Palestinians, Lebanese and the various " terrorist " groups, how the US works with Israel's other neighbors, how the main issues on the table are dealt with.
