Freedom of Speech!

 

Also, PLEASE forward to every like-minded person you know who believes that

educators must be allowed to speak freely and truthfully about all things!

 

This is a clear example of the fact that we are now losing our rights as stated

in the first Constitutional Amendment, within the US Bill of Rights:

 

Amendment I -

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or

prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of

the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the

Government for a redress of grievances.

A Wisconsin lawmaker says that a part-time UW instructor should be fired for his

views that the U.S. government was behind 9/11. What do you think?

He should definitely be fired for making claims like this.

I don't agree with him, but he has a right to his opinion.

I don't want my taxes supporting someone with views like this.

As long as he doesn't teach these views during class he shouldn't be fired.

He shouldn't be fired; universities should be open to controversial ideas.
