Guest guest
Thank you and bless you, Mary, for sending this along to the groups we both care so deeply for. And, for all who have expressed loving support to my family and me at this time... whether in private, in public, via the phone, or even just silently via prayerful thoughts, thank you and bless you. I still do not know for sure when the funeral will be, but we think it will be Wednesday morning. Unfortunately, due to the very unstable state of my health, I will not be able to be with my family during this time of grief... which makes it so much harder in several ways. But, I gave the permission and blessing to read my poem at the funeral if the family wants it and feels it appropriate. As for anyone else who may like to use my poem for similar purposes, as long as my name, date, and copyright are honored, please do use it to bring whatever comfort to grieving hearts that may need it... and whisper my name in prayer for those in sorrow at the same time as my own prayer and blessing for healing for the begrieved. Thank you. Daphne Bradshaw For Grandpa, In Memory Were you in that wind just passing, As you flew away to forever? Were you with the hummingbird Saying my love will leave you never?
