Hello

I have a question I hope I can get an answer to:

My son, who is 23-months old is very active and sometimes restless. I

have heard that chamomile is a good, calming tea. I wonder, are herbal

teas, such as chamomile, good for children?

Thanks,

Tonya

We use Celestial seasonings sleepytime teas(one cup is all it

takes :-))It's a combination of herbal relaxants and can be used

safely for even young children. We all need to revert to a more

natural diet and typical american diets high in processed refined

foods and additives (MSG)can lead to restlessness. Processed refined

carbs and sugars typically cause mood swings, restlessness and

excessively high glucose levels . Fewer processed refined foods and

more organic whole fresh foods are essential for the formation of a

healthy body and primarily a more healthy nervous system.

Hormones (rBGH) in Dairy may lead to restless behaviour as well.

Dairy foods in general and milk in particular destroys pancreatic

function and contributes to the prevalence of type I diabetes in

young children.

God Bless,

JoAnn
