Americans kill one legged Jordanian again, maybe for the last time

8 June 2006

Well Messers Bush and Blair are all aglow today. Once again they've

killed off the one legged Jordanian Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. This time

they

may not be able to resurrect Zarqawi so we can all look forward to a

new

face on the modern day wanted posters. Who knows, perhaps the next one

will be a Canadian, eh. Either way this latest announcement of

Zarqawi's

death comes at excellent time for G.W. Bush.

The American death toll in Iraq and Afghanistan may still pale compared

to Vietnam but My Lai type slaughtering of civilians are happening.

Investigations are embarrassing enough that a victory over Zarqawi is

" timely " . There's also a major internet rumour that Laura Bush walked

out on George for at least one night. Word is she booked into

Washington's Mayflower Hotel because she had enough of the relationship

between George and Condi. Rumour? In power politics that kind of rumour

is damaging enough to need some deflection such as the latest death of

Zarqawi.

Certainly is interesting that the father of one of the Americans said

to

have been beheaded by Zarqawi is blaming Bush more than Zarqawi.

Do I think the Americans would let Zarqawi live and act out his

barbarism in order to prove some validity to the continued occupation

of

Iraq? Of course I think so. That's the way the standard rules of that

game play out. Iraqi women and children being assassinated by drugged

up

marines with little or no hope of being rotated back home? Time to kill

Zarqawi one last time. Deflection and deception. Bottom line: marinated

Iraqis require victory over evil thug guy.

And what of Condi? Does it matter whether or not she's having an affair

with Laura's husband? Something else is of more interest to me. When

the

17 were arrested in Canada a few days ago Condi indicated it was

unrelated to activities inside America. She was happy to see " Canada "

acting so strongly in the " war against terror. " Then word broke that

two

guys from Georgia had traveled into Canada to meet with the Canadian

chat room " terrorists " about possible targets inside the U.S. and now

Condi is going on about the co-operation between U.S. and Canada. Blah

blah blah!! The woman really needs to come up for air more often.

Zarqawi was either just killed or has been long since dead or is not

dead at all. For all we know he could be at the same Club Med in Saudi

Arabia as Osama occupying the villa vacated some time ago by the late

Idi Amin. The only thing in all this that Bush can't ride over between

now and the election in November is the new hurricane season. He can

blitz his way out of horrifying scandals about the treatment of

prisoners in Iraq. He can blitz his way past new scandals about Marines

slaughtering women and children. He can be part of rigging electronic

voting machines. He may even be able to bring Laura back to his side.

He

can run his cons and counter measures on all those things but he cannot

stop the hurricanes from wreaking havoc again on coastal cities from

Texas to Louisiana.

For the world's sake I'll be chatting to Mother Nature and urging Her

to

get down and dirty this Summer and Fall. Live free or Diebold!

[alfranken] *? 2 ALL: U.S. KILLS AL-ZARQAWI FOR SIXTH TIME -

HOW MANY LIVES DOES HE HAVE LEFT?*

'Painstaking' operation led to strike

(Left): Defense Department video shows " al-Zarqawi's safe house in the

crosshairs of an F-16. " (Pentagon's words).

(Right): another of the many identities of Al-Zarqawi, a many lived

terrorist legend whose backstory makes

Carlos the Jackyl seems like a Carlos The Miniature Poodle.

Hi Team!

*? 2 ALL:

U.S. KILLS AL-ZARQAWI FOR SIXTH TIME -

HOW MANY LIVES DOES HE HAVE LEFT?*

SEPARATED AT BIRTH: AL-Zarqawi sand Rudolph Valentino

" Al " (as friends call him) was cast by Osama bin Laden to reprise

Rudolph Valentino's role as " The Shiek " to

soften the terrorist image abroad. Financing on the movie was halted

when Bush insisted Jenna play the

female lead, and Jerry Bruckheimer walked off the project, on the

basis that Jenna had never acted before -

this from the producer who can't cast non-actress Liv Tyler enough,

even when he's not making a movie.

Jason from Friday The 13th (if you include the Jason in outer space

sequel, which I consider to be a TV movie at best, compared to the

others), the Frankenstein monster, Freddie Krueger, Michael Myers or

any imaginary boogeyman, the franchise is based on them coming back

from the dead.

" Can we wrap this on the first take? I'm already late for morning

beheadings. "

A painstaking, weeks-long intelligence operation, acting on tips from

Iraqis and his own network, led to the U.S. airstrike that killed " al

Qaeda in Iraq " leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the military said today.

It's a videogame then. He has a number of lives, and has to be careful

how he uses them. They already killed him twice in 2002, and three

times since then.

Bottom line: The coalition's most wanted man in Iraq was killed in a

strike on a safe house near Baquba, according to U.S. Army Maj. Gen.

Bill Caldwell. How can the good lieutenant be sure? What if Al-Zarqawi

escaped or is resurrected by terrorist black magic, his ashes

recombined - and with more superpowers?

How many lives do you think the undying Al-Zarqawi has left, or is he

being written out of the War on Terror (GWOT) series for good? What

do you think?
