OpEdNews Stolen Election in California?

rob

Brad Friedman reports that there is something very suspicious about

the CA election to replace corrupt cunningham. This should not let any

dust settle on it. We need to go after this aggressively. Like Brad

said to me in an email. Anyone who " gives a damn about elections is

nuts if they sit by and watch this slip away like Kerry in '04! "

Mike Whitney brings up a fascinating question. How will Bush handle

things now that Afghanistan is heating up?

Jim Bush usually writers biting poetry for OpEdNews. Now, he's written

a great article on Haditha. So has Mark Lloyd. I found both of them

powerful and moving.

I've commented on the challenge of working within the Democratic party

at the grassroots level. Philadan, a committeeperson in Philly relates

some of her experiences at a ward meeting. I think we need to let the

light of day in on this level of politics. As you'll see, it also

needs some fresh air.

We're coming up on a major bill. I mentioned it yesterday and got no

support. It's simple. If you value what we do, we really need your

support. Without it, OpEdNews. doesn't continue to function. So

please, send in a contribution.

We need about %800 to $1000 in the next few days. One thing we're

going to do with is move to a new website hosting company, because,

you may have noticed, the one we're on sucks. It's been locking up,

showing error messages or not working at all.

Thanks,

Rob Kall

Haditha Video Games

Amerikans are not stupid. They are just utterly uninformed,

deliberately, pathetically, crassly, totally, uninformed, dumbed down,

Why Democrats Lose

At dinner a few weeks ago, a well-placed Republican political

operative was oozing confidence about GOP prospects in the November

elections, not because the voters were enamored of George W. Bush but

because the Democrats and liberals had done so little to improve their

ability to reach the public with their message.

On second thought, you might want to avoid reading Armed Madhouse -

it's too infuriating, too heart-breaking. If you don't think ordinary

that keep us preoccupied with trivia and assured that America is on

track and so is the war in Iraq and we're still the world's greatest

The Wave Vs. The Wall

The wave overwhelmingly favors Democrats: an unpopular war in Iraq,
