just joined and need advise

Hello, I go by Stuck on the computer most times. I live with my husband, 2

daughters ( Talia 19m Allison 4) and Husband Arturo of 6 years. We live in SE

CT. I am trying to go more and more organic and all natural. I have never been a

big fan of chemicals and synthetics. Drove my now mostly raw vegan mother nuts

growing up. but now she understands a bit more. Anyway. Alli has REALLY bad

reactions to bug bites. they blister like poison ivy and she swells up like a

hot air balloon got stuck under skin. she's miserable and it looks awful. Her

ankle started looking awful yesterday morning. I took her to her pediatrician,

who said it was bug bites, put a cold pack on it and give her some benadryl. and

made me to look stupid... so I am giving her the benadryl. I have put

colloidal silver plus on it, but it stinks like you wouldn't believe and the

blisters got worse, we watched them grow tonight to the point they popped. so

have put lavender oil on it as well with a band aid. we have now washed it with

a natural soap and applied an ointment we got from her Tia ( aunt in Spanish) in

the Dominican republic when she had this problem there in October. we hope this

helps, but i need a miracle as she has her dress rehearsal for dance on

Wednesday and right now she can't walk let alone put a shoe on. Poor kid. I

am hoping time and calmness this weekend will be a help. but since I have been

thinking it was poison ivy, though she says it doesn't it chat all. I am soo

itchy. power of suggestion in driving me crazy. Help.

And glad I found you, I hope to find and be able to help others. hmm wonder if

garlic juice would help. I have been told to try Dawn as well, but I think that

was just for right after the exposure not after it breaks out.
