I say that because it would take a gestapo mentality to think that he has the right to determine what other people read or post in their own groups. It is not enough that we get only screened and sanitized news from all major media, now these nazis think that they can also stomp out anything in these puny little groups that doesn't conform to what they determine that we are allowed to read or discuss. If the politicains weren't in the pockets of the drug companies, there would be far less problems with the medical establishment. But anyway what I wanted to say is that this is not a new problem! This very same problem occured in another Group I belong to ( a graphics making group) and the group owner had an awful time trying to rid the group of this spammer. She was eventually able to do it by banning all the fake email addies and by insisting that all members joined under a valid email address...not a one or hotmail one. She also had to contact and report the spamming abuse. There's more involved than vitamins or pills; more than doctors and healers, hospitals or health resorts. Media are in a critical position in all this. We must decide whether media belongs to all of us, or, solely, to the elites. If we've given up the airwaves to the rich and powerful, if media are not just servants of the rich and powerful, but are themselves owned and operated by immensely wealthy media fat cats, to that extent we have given up hope of ever seeing a truly democratic and humanitarian socail order. You can quibble and argue all you like, denying the reality of the critical position that media are in, but the fact remains, that nothing can be done, particularly as it pertains to our ever more complex, powerful and centralized societies, without media help. Everything, absolutely everything, must eventually come to media for disclosure, or concealment. The decisions to pursue a story, or refuse to pursue it, to work tirelessly to ferret out the truth, or tell it where it isn't being told, or to pretend to tell, or wish to tell a story, when in reality the story is being quashed; the decision " when " to publish, " how much " of it to publish, whether to invent, how much to invent, or, finally, whether to publish at all, rather than keep the matter completely concealed from public view, is entirely in media hands. No corruption of significance in society exists without media looking the other way, if not with actual media complicity, or can exist.
