Guest guest
Hi Christy, > Hello All... > > I've been reading the posts regarding Butch's herbal teas. He's got > that super special deal right now, on account of them being past their > " best by " date. Just gonna give a short testimonial on the teas here. Appreciated it was/is .. :-P > I've been buying his teas for a year or more, now, and he's right, > they are not stale at all! Even before he did the 2 for 1, they were > the best buy on the market....what being a couple bucks a box! That's the way my Taiwanese customers have generally felt .. and as they normally use dried herbs instead of tea bags, they know that the shelf life on herbal teas is many years .. so they've been buying mastercases of the teas during this sale. :-P > The 3 for 1 current special is a steal! Right .. and I think some folks are not used to something being sold for below cost as having a value .. so they hesitate cause they think there must be a catch. Can't say I blame them .. except in this case. ;-p > I did not buy the tea for a while, because I'm not an herbal tea > lover....a HOT herbal tea lover, that is. (Although I do love a good > cup of hot coffee, yuck to hot herb tea.) so, if you, too, do not enjoy > hot tea, try these teas iced! That's how I drink them, and I don't add > a thing, they are just great, as is. Cool herbal teas were in style in the villages here in Turkey long afore they hit the cities .. then it caught on there as iced herbal tea. Its only been 2-3 years that iced tea (Lipton type) has caught on and that was when Lipton started putting it out in soda cans. ;-p Hot herbal teas was always an option when visiting a ministry or other government building .. but now we find iced herbal teas become more and more fashionable in those areas. > Linden is kind of hard to find, and oh what a treat. Yep .. and its one of the national drinks of Turkey. Ihlamur (Linden) Tea is to Turkish mammas as is chicken soup to Jewish mammas. ;-p > And the mint is awesome, too. Best thing around to calm an upset stomach .. or morning sickness. > Can't go wrong with chamomile. Besides tasting great, relieving gas and inflammation, the cooled tea bags will remove the dark circles under the eyes. > I ADORE the fennel, although I bought the last of that up a few months > ago. I'll offer it again .. under the label of the company that custom produced mine. :-p I could hit on all the therapeutic advantges of these teas but many of them are listed at http://www.AV-AT.com/teas.html And click the boxes for more details. > I use at least 2 bags for one big glass of iced tea. I drink it > throughout the day, and my 3- and 5-yr old love them, too, if you can > believe that! The cost of that is .. for example with Mint .. 60 bags for $2.04 will be FOUR CENTS per tea bag .. less than the materials themselves. ;-p > They are lightweight, so don't cost a huge amount to ship. Just > wanted to throw in my plug for these teas that I've enjoyed so much. > Christy I thank you much Christy .. appreciated it is. Regards and y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com PS: Matter of trivia .. boiled down herbal teas have been used as stain for handmade furniture for centuries .. throughout the world.
