Guest guest
Hi y'all, Its me again. ;-p In my other post I stated that I had just received 1,200 + kilos of Turkish EOs and Hydrosols in MD. That shipment includes the following TURKISH hydrosols .. some of which had been out of stock: Rosemary, Cineole (R. officinalis) ........ Hydrosol Oregano (Origanum vulgare) ................ Hydrosol Lavender (Lavandula stoechas) ............. Hydrosol Myrtle Leaf (Myrtus communis) ............. Hydrosol Chaste Tree FRUIT (Vitex agnus castus) .... Hydrosol The Chaste Tree Hydrosol is the FIRST and ONLY ever offered in the US. The NEW prices of Hydrosols WILL BE posted as: HYDROSOL BOTANICAL NAME 8 OZ 16 OZ 1 GAL AGRO CLASS Lavender (L. angustifolia) ..... $7.95 $12.90 $59.97 Cert. Org. Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) .. $6.89 $11.69 $49.99 Cert. Org. Rose, Turk (Rosa damascena) .... $6.79 $10.69 $41.97 Organic Chaste Fruit (V. agnus castus) . $6.79 $10.69 $41.97 Wildgrown Lemon Myrtle (B. citriodora) ... $6.79 $10.69 $41.97 Cert. Org. I just give you 16 ounces for less than most folks charge for 4 ounces. ;-p We have roughly 7 gallons of Lemon Tea Tree Hydrosol in stock. We have roughly 3 gallons of Lemon Myrtle Hydrosol in stock. We have exactly 0 gallons of Tea Tree Hydrosol in stock. When these Australian Hydrosols are out of stock, I will not offer them again until after I can make a trip to Australia .. because my distiller in Oz, Dennis Archer, has sold his farm and I don't trust distillers I don't know. International shipping is too costly .. especially when I don't have 100% confidence in what I'll be getting. Folks ask me why I don't offer Neroli Hydrosol. The answer is cause I haven't found any that's high quality. I'm sure that I will not find any unless I travel to Tunisia again .. which I plan to. They ask me why I don't offer the Chamomile Hydrosols .. because I can't buy and pay shipping costs on QUALITY German Chamomile Hydrosol without then selling it for over $100 a gallon .. and folks won't pay that when they can get it for $75 a gallon. As for Roman Chamomile, I'd have to sell it for $75 a gallon and there is some sold for $60. I'm not saying they are doing it .. but cutting Hydrosols with distilled water is NOT uncommon in this trade. Especially so-called Orange Blossom Hydrosol from France and ANY Oregano or Rosemary Hydrosol direct from Istanbul, Turkey. I offer none of that crap!!!! The cost of Hydrosols is in the barrels and shipping cost .. Hydrosols themselves are cheaper than dirt. So why do they cut them? Damned if I know .. but there are two companies in Istanbul that do ... they told me they do! Of course, testing should be included in costs too .. but few sellers test them. Ours are tested every 90 days at one of two labs: Superior Labs, Inc. 2514 Billingsly Road Columbus, Ohio 43235 Tel: (614) 793-8778; (800) 886-5227 .. Fax: (614) 793-2172 AND/OR National Testing Laboratories, Ltd. 556 South Mansfield Ypsilanti, MI 48197-5166 Tel: (440) 449-2525 .. Fax: (440) 449-8585 And .. since I bought three metric tons this year, I can offer 50 kilogram drums of Rose Hydrosol for a pretty good price. A 50 kilogram can of Turkish Rose Hydrosol has a Net Weight of around 110.25 pounds .. or 13.78 gallons. If you buy 5 gallons .. or 40 lbs .. or 18.14 kilos .. it costs you $41.97 per gallon .. or $5.25 per pound .. for a total of $209.85. A 50 kilo drum .. or 110.25 lbs .. or .. 13.78 gallons .. costs $27 a gallon .. or $3.37 a pound .. or $372.06 for the barrel. That is a savings of Thirty-Six Percent (36%) which ain't chicken feed. AND .. the cost of shipping will be considerably less than it would be a gallon or five at a time. It would be shipped from Friendsville, MD ... cost is very reasonable. We have recently sent THREE 50 kilo drums to Canada, FOUR to Taiwan and SEVEN 50 kilo drums to Australia. And, we have sent them to US buyers. If you ever wanted to take a bath in Rose Hydrosol .. now's the time. The below two U.S. Hydrosols are in Maryland now but not on the site. Both are Certified Organic and both are at least $20 a gallon less than anyone offers them .. BUT they're more costly than my other Hydrosols .. especially my Rose Hydrosol, which might confuse some people because Rose Hydrosol is normally much higher. But I can control the price of Turkish Origin Hydrosols .. especially the Rose Hydrosol as I buy it in TONS and all come straight from the still. But the below Hydrosols were bought through a middle man so my costs were much higher. They are: Yarrow (Achillea Millefolium) ....... Certified Organic ... USA Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) ... Certified Organic ... USA Regards and keep smiling. Butch http://www.AV-AT.com Bulk/Wholesale/Retail GC Tested EO, Rose Otto, Hydrosols and other nice things sent from downtown Friendsville, Maryland .. population 600.
