Chocolate Lip Balm

This is a yummy, perfect last-minute gift to make for the holidays. I came

across this recipe at luxurylane.com last night and I'm entranced by the

concept of Chocolate Lip Gloss (balm, whatever you want to call it.) I

already have some cocoa butter, but I'm going to the drugstore to get some

Palmer's in the jar (very hard stuff, should be good for this), and I

already have a pound of chocolate chips and lots of Vitamin E, so I'm set

to go. I'll use a water bath to melt the stuff, and I have lots of little

lip balm pots, and some solid perfume tins if I run out :-)

 

CHOCOLATE LIP GLOSS

 

3 Tbsp. Cocoa Butter

4-5 Chocolate Chips

1 capsule, Vit. E

 

Melt, and blend ingredients with a spoon until smooth, put into a container

and

refrigerate until solid.

BTW - what is Palmer's in the jar (aside from being very hard stuff *LOL*)?

 

I think I want to play with this recipe this weekend after I get all the last minute holiday orders (and gifts for MY friends/family too) done - packed - and shipped out. Took care of much of the Fed Ex Home Delivery shipping already over the past few days and thank heaven's the Post Office is open extra holiday hours Saturdays and open on Sunday even too. There is a 24 hr Post Office here in Denver if need be, but it's ALL the way on the other end of town (like a 30+ minute drive on the hwy).

 

 

SO, if anyone is looking for me ... I'm here - just quiet - packing *LOL*
