Hi y'all,

 

I think this problem will be gone in the next 24 hours. After a bit of

investigation .. greatly assisted by good folks in Taiwan .. I have sent

the following letter to the wayward son who made this error.

Because I know you are a good person, I'm going to approach this with

the mentality that you have made an honest error.

 

I was surprised to receive FIVE posts last night from people in Taiwan

advising that someone was using my Registered Company Name, Registered

Trademark Name and Registered Company Logo .. they sent me these URLs:

http://avat.tacomall.com.tw/aboutme.htm

 

And they sent me other information. Such as this company claimed to be

Nitrogen Flushing their 10 ml bottles. This is not only impossible but

anybody in the business knows it is not done. Only large containers are

Nitrogen Flushed.

 

The posts I received advised me that the address for this site that was

claiming to represent my company without authorization was:

 

1F. No. 1, Alley 4

212 Lane, Sec. 6

East Chung Shao Rd.

Taipei 105

 

That is your address.

 

And they advised me that the email address on that site that was

claiming to represent my company without authorization was:

(deleted) .com.tw .. That is your email address.

 

You have never asked me for permission to use my Company Name, Product

Name or Logo. If you had asked, I would have refused.

 

I will NOT allow anyone to use any information such as this.

 

I WILL allow anyone who purchases my EOs to resell them:

 

a. In their OWN label .. in their OWN bottle.

b. Without reference to my company.

c. Without use of my Logo.

 

But I will NOT allow use of ANY information that could convince people

that the oils are mine or that the one offering them is in any manner

representing me, my company or my product brand.

 

I will allow a reseller who sells in their own bottle and own label with

no reference to me, my company, my registered trademark or logo .. to:

 

Claim in their advertising that they have purchased their EOs from me.

Claim that the EOs are tested .. and offer a copy of the analysis test.

 

But even then, they CANNOT claim this for ANY EO not purchased from me.

 

To make sure there is no misunderstanding of the above, I'm advising you

in a most friendly manner that in the next TWENTY-FOUR hours you must:

 

1. Get the name of Appalachian Valley, Anatolian Treasures, and/or

AV-AT off of your labels and your website NOW!!

 

2. Get any reference or symbols of my Registered Logo .. the Eagle ..

off of your labels and your website NOW!!

 

I am not sure if you understand the damage you might have caused to your

own company ... but you can and must correct that now. There are many

people in Taiwan who are upset because of what you have done. Why are

they upset? Because they asked me for permission to do the same thing

and I refused them. I will ALWAYS refuse such requests.

 

I am NOT now upset with you .. I will consider this an honest error on

your part .. BUT .. if you continue to do this I will become upset.

 

And again .. you CAN make a statement in your advertising or whatever

that you purchased your oils from me .. or from Anatolian Treasures.

But that is as far as it is allowed to go .. in accordance with LAW!

 

So again ... assuming that your error is an honest error .. and you can

now see that it is an error and you will repair it in a most immediate

manner ... I close this post with ...
