Guest guest
What has been your hot sellers this year? I notice last year bath salts were hot, this year they're not ... this year candles are hot, last year they were not . Last year bars of soap were hot, this year they're not ... This weekend I am going to see how well creams and liquid soaps/shower gels go. I just wanted to see what other folks were experiencing *Smile*Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com
Guest guest
Hi Chris, I have been doing many shows myself. Got 4 over the next 2 weekends. Thank goodness my Mom helps out. IMO people are being very conservative with their spending. I take with me to my shows the following: Soap, bar and liquid Creams Balms soy candles Very few bath salts or scrubs I have sold out at my shows in November of the Herbal Hand Repair Balm, Golden Gloves (cream) and Mango-Orange Body Butter (cream) which can be seen on my website if you want to check it out. I noticed at the shows in November, people bought for their needs, ie: dry hands, eczema flare ups etc... So I plan to focus on that at the next shows I do. Seems the gifty type items have been in second place this year. Candles and soap are running together as far as amount of each that have sold. I have not sold any gift packs as of yet (combined soap, cream & candle.) Sold only a couple sugar scrub kits and some chocolate bath beans. Your bath cookies are unique and I would venture to say that those would do well. Hope you have great success at your shows & definately take those scrumptious looking butters you had on list the other day. Guest guest
Like Margaret, I am finding that utilitarian things are selling well. I have sold tons of hand cream, salve, and body butters. I live in New England and it is dry skin time! Lip balms are a sellout at every show too! And I only do one flavor, spearmint. Smaller things are selling better than larger things. People are comfortable with my prices and variety, but want to buy smaller amounts to save money, even when the larger sizes are competitively priced. Guest guest
Hi Chris, --- chrisziggy <chrisziggy wrote: > > What has been your hot sellers this year? > While bath salts are not so hot this year, fizzy bath crystals are. People like the graininess is what I have been told by a couple of customers. Also, aroma burners with a sample eo or blend in them sell quite well here in Alaska. For me shampoos, soaps (liquid or bar) and shower gels do not sell at all. But Alaska seems to have a completely different supply & demand than the lower 48. Hmmm wonder if Hawaii is the same as the continental US or not. Cheryl ===== Cheryl Smith Anchorage AK Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus.
